Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a wonderful time. We went for Taco Tuesday with a great live singer. Food very good, staff the best we have ever had in Barbados. They seemed so happy and nothing was too much trouble. Magnificent evening. Thank you to all.

Great spot for breakfast, nestled in amongst the Chattel Village. Food and service were great. Good options for those who are gluten free.

You gotta check this place out. Most friendly staff ( thanks Pat) , excellent food, eggs perfectly cooked, just as ordered. Waffles big and fluffy. Ready for some great food, you have to visit cafe Carizma. It does get busy for breakfast, but minimal wait...time and always worth it. Next we will be trying Taco Tuesday, can’t wait.More

A little gem, we ate here for breakfast and would have come back for lunch but we’re going home! The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. It has a real charm and does a great menu of food options plus hot and cold drinks....Including to name just one, refreshing home made Lemonade! If you want good quality breakfast or lunch there is no need to look any further. Would definitely recommend and will return when we go back to Barbados.More

Located on the main road in Holetown is this lovely family owned cafe/bar restaurant. We went for breakfast and have to say although a tad expensive, the food was excellent so worth every penny. The tea was good too and the service and attention from...the staff was spot on. It’s located in a quaint spot ‘Chattel Village’ sat back slightly off the main road. Hubbie had corned beef hash with poached eggs and toast and I had Irish potato cakes and poached eggs. It opens at 8:00 am, and is really popular so be prepared to wait for a table at busy times. The lady who runs it does her best to get you seated quickly. Well worth a visit!More

We were visiting from Maxwell Christchurch for the day.We had noticed the shops when leaving on another visit but did not see the cafe until this visit as it is tucked in behind the shops.
This is a lovely garden setting in nice bright colours.Er...went in for a coffee and it seemed lovely and had a nice menu so we went back for lunch later. We were recognised from the morning by a guy who worked there.
We shared a mozzarella and Italian ham salad and had 2 hot pitta and a soft drink. The food was lovely and the price reasonable for Barbados. The service was very good and nice staff.
I believe the cafe is a restaurant in the evening with a different menu and music some nights.Best to book I heard. This cafe was a lovely find on our holiday and a change from places on the beachMore

Very nice little spot. The food was very good. Service a little slow but not to bad for the island. Coffee was delicious and not bitter but strong.

Lively, popular cafe with fantastic staff. Special call out to Pat who was exceptional. Very tasty, well presented food at reasonable prices. Just wish it was open every evening.

We dropped in without a reservation at about 0830 on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The service was sharp and the food was excellent. A decent breakfast - not greasy from a menu with loads of choice. Good coffee. Fresh juice. You’d have to go...a long way to find as good a breakfast that you didn’t make yourself. Definite recommend.More
