Love this restaurant... They always have good quality fish and generous portions.. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the service good.. They offer a salad bar with your meal and it has a great variety of salads... The perch and pickerel are always done to perfection . They also offer other items on the menu but we go for... More

We stoped for a late lunch and almost walked out. We entered the restaurant walked into the bar and were ignored. Several servers could see us standing in the bar area discussed it between them selfs but no one came over. We then walked into the restaurant area caught the attention of a younger server and asked if the bar... More

As per the waitress, the perch is a milder fish and less bones than the pickerel and their fish are battered and fried but you can asked the pickerel to be panfried for $1 extra. The batter is already on the fish and they cannot be amend the thickness of the batter but you can ask them to drain it... More

Totally underwhelmed by the meal I had at this restaurant. The fries were clearly of the frozen variety and the fish (perch) consisted of 5 tiny pieces surrounded by an overcooked rubbery batter. The salad bar was OK considering how few selections were actually available. Service was on par with the meal. As someone who makes my own fish and... More

While in Port Dover we had dinner at the Fisherman's Catch, on the recommendation of the B and B owner. The place was pretty "plain-jane" but was clean and looked to be be well kept. Service was good. I ordered the local pickerel dinner. My wife had a salad and sweet potato fries. I elected to have veggies instead of... More

I own and manage a B&B in the region, Dover House Bed and Breakfast, and when my guests as me I tell them Fisherman's Catch is my favorite restaurant because it is. It's the best food and the best service with the best price. I've never had a meal that was wanting and even when it's busy the ladies who... More

We dined here twice ;once in spring and once in July 2016.We always had the fish and chips.Nothing to rave about.Staff could be a bit friendlier and perhaps a smile once in a while would do.We found it understaffed since we had to wait for quite a while for our orders to be taken.
