Strandloper was an amazing restaurant that my friends and I enjoyed spending many hours dining, singing along and enjoying each other's company in the beautiful setting that strandloper calls home. Strandloper is a very casual restaurant that serves many many courses of food ( if I remember correctly we had 10 courses beginning to end). They gave us a short... More

First thing's first, Die Strandloper is not just a restaurant, it's an immersive experience, meaning you have to review it as such. Don't go expecting the finest china or someone to wait on your hand and foot. This is rustic, West Coast cooking at its finest! One thing to remember is to bring your own booze and ice, preferably in... More

We went with three small children, there is lots of places for kids to play in the sand, on the rocks. You can bring in your own alcohol, which is nice if you don't want to pay at the bar. The bread was amazing! I missed out on a couple of the courses, but everyone seemed to enjoy everything that... More

Die Strandloper is a very rustic lunch venue near to the beach. The lunch is buffet style, very basic, no cutlery. You eat on paper plates and they give you the shell of a mussel to eat with. Their home baked bread is delicious and in abundance. There is a lot of food but they only give you half a... More

Have been at the Strandloper before and was a little disappointed this time with the food. Fish and crayfish dry and overcooked. There is ample food and you do leave full, or should I say, stuffed The mussels in shell and the bread were the only items cooked to perfection. The rest either dry or average. The location and vibe... More

We were told we must visit this restaurant, and we were so pleased we did! You have to book, which the hotel receptionist did for us. It was the most amazing experience! If you want fine dining then this is definitely not for you. It's situated right on the beach and the 'restaurant' is made up of fishing nets and... More

10 course meal over a few hours of lovely seafood all prepared on open fires on the beach. Great venue and staff. Take your own drinks or there is a bar available. No utensils and you use mussel shells to eat with on paper plates. Booking essential.
