All reviews chicken soutzoukakia greek salad mediterranean food la creme ate here both occasions last night santa barbara visited twice well worth a visit during our stay lovely meal views resort harbour sea
A typically traditional taverna on the beach road in the resort between the harbour and the Kefalos Supermarket. It serves divine food, all cooked freshly to order and will not automatically bring you bread unless you ask. The taverna is up some steps, only about...half a dozen so not to difficult to negotiate. Choice of food here is fresh anbd varied to suit everyone's taste.Have to mention how clean all the tables were, being thoroughly cleaned after every customer. Well worth a visit or two or three ot more as when you have been here once you will want to return again and again. An excellent taverna.More
Lovely relaxed taverna serving traditional Greek/Mediterranean food.
We had meals of Soutsoukakia and also Chicken Fillet (kefalos a la creme) House Wine.
Value for money and all very nice. Recommended 😋
We visited here again this year. Tables were well set apart to comply with social distancing. There staff, as ever were polite and welcoming and our food was well cooked. My fillet of chicken was very tender and well cooked.
Visited twice as the food is so good.
All fresh locally sourced seasonal ingredients served beautifully. The restaurant is quaint and tradition with the staff also lovely. Sat opposite the sea for spectacular views. The second time we entered behind 3 large groups. The server...advised there would be a wait to which we understood and accepted, yet the food still came out perfect within a relatively speedy time. Havent heard any guest speak poorly about this place or the owners brother at Santa Barbara. If you go to kefalos you have to go here.More
What's not to like about this place? Wonderful tasty food, reasonably priced, good wine, fantastic service and impressive views. The fried aubergine is a must. The chickpea dumplings were lovely. Its the only restaurant we visited twice during our stay. So good. Would definitely return.
Stumbled across this taverna one evening after fishing at the harbour, what a find! Great choice on the menu, we decided on 1 main (chicken traditional), mushrooms a La creme, and a Greek salad. All was beautiful snd extremely tasty.
I'm these coronavirus times I...think it is important to mention that this taverna felt very safe... Hygiene was impeccable and all staff wearing masks and gloves. We eould recommend that you visit xMore
Nice taverna with a lovely view of the harbour, staff were polite and friendly although I think the girl who served us may have been new to the game. Both meals were on the salty side, I had Soutsakakia and my wife had pasta neopolitana...so I think it may have been the batch of tomato sauce maybe? Anyway I ate mine but my wife couldn't eat hers. Will be returning next year as reading other reviews it seems like its a one off incident.More
