I’ve been searching the world for best ribs since I went to Memphis Tennessee 2019. I’m happy to declare that I’ve found them! Juicy, meaty , drenched in delicious sauce with a light green salad make this a memory for life.

Great Night out with a group of friends. Service was great and staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was very good. The desserts all looked so good we couldn’t decide on one so opted for the dessert platter. The peppermint crisp dessert was amazing....Brilliant night out.More

Went to a birthday party in the Boma section of the restaurant. It has a central fire pit. They started adding wood and seeing that they covered the roof with plastic - probably for the rain, and wet wood I suppose, we were completely smoked...out in the area. People complained of burning eys and it was not a nice experience. What the food was concerned, the menu had Oxtail and Bobotie. I am South African and know these dishes. They were pathetic. Each person had one bone of oxtail, the sauce was watery and some had a potato and a carrot. The meat did not fall off the bone and it had no flavor. The boboties could have been minced beef with a touch of curry spice. It was pathetic. If you call this true South African cooking, you have no idea what you are serving. The dessert was a cold tasteless milktart. The malva pudding was not too bad, but I have tasted better. For what you pay, I think the birthday Party got a raw deal for value. I will not return to this restaurant. It is not worth the trip. The drinks menu was also poor. There was a choice of two beers, white wine from a box and red wine. The rest was soft drinks in an ice bucket. No other choices were available.More

Our first time to the Leopard Lodge and was very pleasantly surprised. Set in the middle of the bush the Leopard Lodge reminded me of some of the lodges I experienced whilst working in Africa. The menu is very typically African and authentic to the...food I tasted whilst in Africa. Mark and his wife were wonderful hosts, the food was cooked perfectly and very tasty. We very much enjoyed our night here and will be sure to return with friends.More

Having lived in Southern Africa for 18 years I can honestly say it is the only Authentic African Restaurant I have been to in 30 years in Aus.

First time at the lodge, have to say we will be back. It won’t win any golden plate awards, but it was good value for money. My eye fillet with pepper sauce and salad was $32. That normally comes/ includes a second side but I...opted just for the single salad. Steak was cooked perfectly. Salad was ok, a little plain. Wine was excellent, we went for the SA Shiraz $36 for the bottle. Quite busy (sat night) so make sure you book. One of the things we really liked was the cosy decor and acoustics- we could hear each other. They played African music, in the back ground, not over powering it was really good. The web site is worth a look they have a couple interesting extras.More

Hi David, we were there with two other adults and therefore didn't sample kids meals, they seemed to have the usual kids fare of nuggets or sausages served with chips as well as small steaks with chips, all around $15 and... More
