For good South African tucker this is the place. The owners are almost falling over themselves as they greet you at the door and show you to your table. The place was full on the night we visited which is always a good sign. We were warned there may be a bit of a longer wait for our food due... More

My partner and I and another couple wanted to try something different for dinner so decided on African, the location was completely isolated and very quiet which made you feel that you were somewhere down south of Perth, the food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We even asked for desserts and coffee that weren't even on the menu,... More

I visited The Leopard Lodge recently and thought it worth mentioning for those of you, planning to visit my fair city, Perth, Western Australia. The Leopard Lodge would be about a 45 min - an hour's drive north of Perth, but it is on a direct route from the city and worth visiting. Once you arrive, you are instantly transported... More

We purchased a Groupon deal which at times can be a hit or miss! Most often a miss as not realizing this is the commencing of a good customer for life!! So for once the food I cannot fault! Steak cooked to perfection and all sauces were exciting compliments. We did however had to wait a little longer than expected... More

Visited with my elderly parents for dinner. They had Serengetti Chicken. I had Rib Eye steak. Cooked medium. Absolutely packed with diners. Impressive for a Thursday night given its bushland location. Food was very good. One of the best steaks I have had in a long while. Cooked to perfection and very tender. The blue cheese sauce was very nice... More

We went here whilst visiting family and the steaks and food we had was fabulous, perfectly cooked steaks, that's a rarity! It was sooo good we immediately booked a table for our last evening, and the food was just as exceptional. Others have made comments about the service, yes it can be a little adhoc at times but in my... More

I am not sure, really, why I felt disoriented during my visit to this first rate establishment. Perhaps it was jet lag; perhaps it was because I was outside of some of their excellent Windhoek lager from Namibia - probably the best lager in Africa. Perhaps it was the elephant lurking near the dusty track which leads to their quintessentially... More

We had been to the Leopard Lodge before and found the Tribal Feast Platter was excellent. The platter contained Rump steak with your choice of sauce, beer battered chips, Boerewors sausage & Mielie pap with Monkey Gland BBQ sauce, Bobotie & yellow rice, char grilled chicken, ribs andvegetables. Today we ordered the same dish and waited for almost 1 1/2... More

This was some of the best customer service I've had in Perth. The chef took our order as the waitress was occupied at the time and she was so accommodating and hospitable and absolutely made our night. The food was perfect and in great portions. It's not the cheapest but it's a great night out-if you don't mind taxidermy!

My friend and I dined here tonight and loved it. We had the share platter which is a tasting plate of many of their items, including chicken, steak, sausages, rice, salad, the best chips I've ever eaten, and a spicy mince portion which was also delicious. Staff service was 5 star from every single person who served us, absolutely faultless.... More

The Leopard Lodge restaurant is reminiscent of an opulent 1960's African Game Lodge, with its fusion of stone walls and rich wood interior, located only 15 mins north of Joondalup on 10 acres of bushland. We hope our new restaurant site of 10 acres has the potential to become a small African game reserve. Our vision is to develop this wonderful property into a unique destination in Perth, and we have now added an authentic African Boma to our facilities. This is a wooden, circular enclosed dining area, where guests can dine under the stars, warmed by the glow of flaming torches and oil lamps. We will have our fabulous steakhouse, together with luxury tented accommodation and hopefully, in the near future, we can introduce some wild animals like zebra, springbok, ostrich to complete the authentic African game experience here in Perth.
