While out for a drive we decided to stop at this little place that we heard so much about and had driven by too many times. It was worth it. We started with an appetizer of Deep Fried Vegetables of cauliflower, broccoli and mushrooms. They...More

We had been planning lunch here since last year. We were very pleased with the experience. The menu is very reasonably priced. They batter their own fish, which, to our surprise over the years, is not common even in fishing villages. Service was good, and...More

After an afternoon on the water. Nothing adds a finishing touch like a visit to Shipwreck Point cafe. The staff and food are second to none. I highly recommend the deep fried veggies. I had a abundantly tasty lobster sandwich and my cousin had the...More

DH wanted chowder, I wanted clams and we found both at Shipwreck Point Cafe. Yes, go over the scary little humpbacked bridge because it will be worth it. Make sure you go out back to take pictures too. The chowder was hot and filled with...More

We brought my cousins from California, Trenton, St. Catherine's & Kingston, Ontario on August 13,2017. (3 car loads of people.) The majority of us got fish and chips. The fish was undercooked, the batter on the fish was white. Funny tasted from the fish. I...More

Food choices are limited on this end of the island. Dinner was good, but nothing special. Tarter sauce for fish and chips out of package.

The salmon was cooked from frozen and not tender. Burger was average. Fish burger was okay. All plates were served with roasted potatoes that had a strange texture and boiled bland vegetables. Service was curt and not more friendly. A shipwreck indeed.

You'd think they would use the view but it seemed more small closed in diner style than anything. Food was quick and easy but mostly deep fried. Even the Caesar salad was lacking. Chowder was kinda watery and tasteless. It's a quick stop along the...More

It is listed that way because the mail comes to the Souris Post Office. I have made a change to the listing to show that we are at Naufrage. Thanks so much for your question.
