Mmmm the peach salad and the blue eye were delicious. Oysters were good. Zucchini flowers were a bit too stuffed for me but my friends loved them. I will go back.

A great informal dining experience in the heart on Newtown. Shared tables and plenty of share options on the menu..with a good selection of specials. Small, bustling and designed for fun, it didn't disappoint! My slow roast lamb was superb... as were the stuffed. Zuchini...More

The food is great, as well as the service! Highly recommend the experience! We had a nice lunch, the salmon, the beetroot salad and the cuttlefish, all contributed towards an awesome sunday afternoon..

Great find close to Princess Highway end of King Street. Relaxed, efficient and friently dining. Two sittings 6.00-8.00pm and 8.00- whatever pm. No issue with bringing along Mr 8 yr old and put forward an immediate suggestion for food for him. After an exhausting Saturday...More

This wonderful wee eatery was a find. Cheek in jowl against many other eateries, you know that this one is something special from the first mouthful. We began with oysters in a chardonnay vinaigrette followed by the stuffed zucchini flowers. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE.

Loved the tapas style sharing plates, the portions are generously sized for tapas, we got 5 plates between two which was more than enough, but there are main size melas to pick from as well. Loved the unique NZ flavors, if your a kiwi living...More

The Bach Eatery, is a fun, fast & fresh concept with a little kiwi twist. Our dishes are entree serving size designed to share. The Bach is small and only seats approx 35 people, it does get noisy because everyone is loving the food and having a great old time. There is a mixture of high stools and communal tables with a few tables outside on King Street. No seating is guaranteed but we do our best to accomodate.
