I went for dinner with friends on a Saturday night. The food was amazing but what impressed me even more was the service. They would pour the wine when needed and top up our water as needed and checked with us if everything was ok and if we needed more naan bread etc. Yay, finally a restaurant that has warm plates to keep your food from cooling down too quickly. We did not feel rushed at all which is so common place these days to get you out quickly. I'll be back again in fact I am going again this weekend.

From the moment you walk in the door and you are met by a member of the wait staff you can sense you are in for a special experience. Firstly the service at this restaurant is fantastic. Attentive staff that are not intrusive on the experience but anticipate the diners requirements. Secondly the meal - just brilliant. The meals we ordered showcased not only the talent of the kitchen staff but the depth of variety of Indian cuisine. The vegetarian sampler for entree was a great introduction to what was to come. We enjoyed four curries that were full of flavor with a nice spice punch where appropriate. Do not miss the camel curry, it is amazing. This is a restaurant we are not only happy to recommend but look forward to returning to.

We had lunch as part of marriage ceremony at Waterview and Dinner at 4 Seasons the next night as part of Reception Ceremony - catered and Served by Delhi O Delhi. Must I say these were the best Indian cuisines, of 5 star quality that I have ever had outside of India. The taste, the service, the presentation - all were Excellent. Wishing the brand more success and earning the blessings of all who visit you and taste your cuisines. @Javed, thanks for your personal touch and being at ground Zero to oversee every detail.

Very easy to book a table on their website, it's fairly small so there isn't much difference between inside and outside dining, although every table is under cover if it rains.
We each ordered a bunch of meals to share, which basically all came at once. With the rice and naan bread that we ordered, it was a challenge to fit everything on the tables.
Some of the dishes we had were the Assamese duck curry, chicken pepper fry, camel curry, beef chutney, and prawn moilee with coconut and turmeric and ginger. Everything had exceptional flavour. The beef was so tender that it melted in your mouth and came with great sauce. The prawn coconut curry was absolutely delicious and my favourite. The duck was tasty and smooth. The camel curry was a bit tangy but still pretty decent. I'm used to eating lots of spicy food so I didn't find it particularly hot, although a few of our group noticed a bit of a spicy kick.
The bottles of wine were about a $20 to $30 markup on retail prices but what we ordered was quite nice, and between 3 of us who shared the wine it wasn't too high a cost. I often make an effort to search online while at the table, so be wary of the prices before you choose.
I will say that while it didn't dampen the experience, as soon as they handed us the bill they said they needed the table and they didn't allow for more than 3 card separate payments, so at short notice we had to figure out how to split the bill for 7 people with cards and cash and then immediately leave. Also when they asked us if we wanted rice and assorted naan breads, we weren't aware of the cost until the bill came without checking the menu. While it was more of an inconvenience, and they are just a business trying to keep operating after a long lockdown, be mindful of this as well.
I don't know if I'd dine here again as it was very noisy and hectic and a bit cramped, but the meals were so delicious I'd definitely consider them for pickup or delivery in the future.

The night started a bit rocky when they didn't seem to have my reservation after I had made it a week earlier and confirmed the day before but we were seated so all good. And am I glad we were because the service and especially the food here is fantastic. We shared some starters which were amazing and I thought I'd give the camel curry out asI'd never had it before and it absolutely fell apart. The taste of camel is a little gamey but it was cooked so well and the sauce complimented it very well. The keema naan which you don't get in all Indian restaurants for some reason was easily the best I've had anywhere in Australia, spiced just right.
Tip: If you order the $10 mixed condiments they'll come immediately so that you can enjoy them with your complimentary papadums. This is something you get automatically in the UK but this is the first time I've seen it here although in UK you don't pay for the condiments.

We walked in, and right away we were accorded a warm welcome. We were very graciously guided to a table. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to be served. The food was delicious and authentic Indian in its mix of spices. The owner Javed Khan takes pride in providing both food and service in an impeccable style. His dedication is obvious in the way he keeps an eye for detail, and in the way he interacts with his guests to make them feel at home. Great management of a great team.

This was the best Indian I’ve ever eaten in Australia, after 35 years living here. The aroma walking in to the restaurant was so great. The food was so delicious. The staff and service also really good. And great value for money. Great find, we’ll be back.

Once a favourite of ours, we hadn't visited since before the pandemic hit, so we were looking forward to re-acquainting ourselves with it.
Another good restaurant gone. BYO is no longer available but they didn't tell us that until we were seated. The servings were well sized but delivered too quickly, as if they wanted us out to make room for another sitting. The service was 'intense' - not the attention that makes for a great time, but the constant hovering by three different waiters that makes you want to scream "leave me alone and let me eat."
And the prices have gone through the roof as well. I got the impression they were trying for 'fine dining' but forgot where they are and threw out what they used to do well. In the extremely competitive restaurant scene that is Newtown, a other disappointment and another former favourite we'll cross off our list.

We were looking, for real, for Hindu vegetarian food. This looked like an option in Goodmayes, Ilford. It was the night before a funeral. Mum did not want to go out. I collected and Bhagwan ji provided a miracle - parking. I was 10-15 minutes late. We could easily have ate there. I liked it so much I stuffed a typical takeout restaurant portion in about 3-4 minutes. Luckily mum had ordered enough for my sister who didn't want any when we ordered and finished it off straight away. It was delicious. Very good. Thanks a lot.

Wow!! I couldn’t fault this place.
My partner and I went last night and it has to be the best Indian meal ( and service) I have had in a very long time. I’ve been to a few others in and around Sydney and they have never been very good. However Delhi “O” Delhi was a different story and I’d struggle to find a better Indian restaurant to compare it to anywhere.
The ambiance was just right. We sat on a table outside which was lovely as it was a very warm evening. So many Indian restaurants are like café style with bare tables and bright lighting. It’s not like that here. Tables were dressed and everything was very well presented without being formal. It’s a very casual vibe here.
The service was attentive and friendly, without ever being in your face. Beers were icy cold, just the way I like them. Food here is the star and was different class. A mixed vegetarian starter platter followed by okra curry and Goan fish curry were all cooked to perfection.
I’d give this restaurant a 10/10 for everything. I’ve finally found an Indian restaurant I can go back to and enjoy.
I highly recommend.

Delicious food and attentive service. Beautifully tender tandoori lamb, amazing naan, flavourful rices, delicious goat. Fresh and well cooked food in perfect portions with just the right amount of spice. Service bang on with cold glasses for a good choice of beers (and any other drink you could think of, as well as being BYO for wine). It’s miles above other Indian restaurants nearby.

My husband loves Indian (it’s usually not my go to cuisine as the spices can be a bit overwhelming) but everything at Delhi O Delhi was delicious! My husband had an authentic lamb curry and I had the chicken tikka masala which was perfectly well balanced dipped with a gooey, decadent naan bread and roti. I really enjoyed the cucumber and tomato salad, really refreshing. We finished this off with the trio of kulfi. Excellent service, the staff were so warm and accommodating. I may not be an Indian connoisseur but I can understand why this restaurant is so highly rated and I would happily visit again in the near future.

Delhi O Delhi is good traditional style Indian food. Good restaurant for families, they have a kids menu and a great variety of Indian dishes. The favourite with the family is always the Butter Chicken. Prices are slightly on the higher side but the food is definitely worth it.
We found the service to be a bit slower than usual, we were sitting outside so maybe this is why. It was very hot so would recommend a table inside if you can get it.

First time to Delhi ‘o’ Delhi tonight and it was brilliant.
Entrees and mains both cooked perfectly and sauces complex and tasty. I had the lamb bhuna and can definitely recommend. Service was excellent as well, this place is clearly under good management. Thanks a lot - we will be back!

The menu here is extensive with good descriptions and great staff for more details. I had the camel curry which was absolutely delicious (maybe the best curry I've ever had and i love curries!). I also thoroughly enjoyed the peshwari naan which is a sweet naan filled with fruits and nuts. So yummy. Good job guys.
