I spent several weeks working within 1km of the cafe last month and it was a life saver! For coffee mostly and some snaks, the Farmview had us covvered and we would converge on it most mornings, along with the local and other workers. Food...is normal cafe fare but cooked with care and a bit of a personal touch. We couldn't use the lounge as out clohtes were too grubby from the work but the garden area and verandah were just perfect to get out of the sun. The cafe also has some nice local crafts for sale which were popular with the girls on the team. It was also a great place to chat to locals and get some "news" on what was ahppening around the palce. Toilets are clean and the cafe is easily accesed by elderly and disabled. We even caought up with the same locals and staff at the Ilford community hall when they had their delayed Christmas party. Stop by at this cafe as you go through and take a break. You'll refresh yourself and support the recovery of the local community after the fires. Did you stop and enjoy your visit or did we help make you aware this is a great place to stop? If so, let us know with a helpful vote and have a look at our other reviews, even if it's just for fun!More

Great little cafe with fresh home style meals. Steak sandwich was amazing with quality scotch fillet. Nuggets and chips were enjoyed by the kids. Chicken wrap was tasty. Take away coffees were superb for road trip home. We’ll be back on our next adventure

Great place to stop for lunch with friendly staff and good food. Clean toilets are available for customers. They serve the usual burgers and breakfasts but they also have other options like steak or salads. The portions are large and nicely cooked fresh. Gluten free...is no problem. I had sausages with chips and salad but couldn't eat it all. Sit inside if you want but my recommendation is to sit outside under the wisteria in the shade. Absolutely lovely spot.More

We stopped at Farmview Cafe on our way to Dubbo and again on our trip home. The cafe is staffed by very friendly and helpful people. The food servings are very generous and the quality of the food is outstanding. Hot coffee in front of...the open fire was a great way to relax. Well recommended.More

I had no idea that a cafe existed in this tiny locality, so, hungry and it being lunchtime I decided to stop. The service was friendly and the menu surprisingly long for such a small locality. I chose a hamburger as the meat pattie was...home made. The hamburger was delicious and well presented and the home made pattie so much nicer than the usual hamburger pattie’s. I can recommend the destination for a quickies meal. There is inside and outside seating. The toilet facilities were clean and there is plenty of off road parkingMore

I have tried Farmview Cafe several times now. While the food is good, the service is incredibly slow. If you want somewhere to stop and have a break, maybe this is for you. But if you are hungry and want something to eat without too...much of a wait, this is not the place.More
