Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here for lunch while driving from Canberra to Wagga. It was a Wednesday which is Hump Day Rump Day. The special was a rump with chips with bacon and eggs and a schooner for $20. My wife got that but without the eggs...and bacon and even then it was a big meal. I had the chicken schnitzel which was also great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub is worth exploring- even the men’s toilets. This will be a regular stop for us.More

Called in for a meal and a few beers and was quietly surprised. Meal was beautiful and beer ice cold. Owners are very friendly. A must for a little stop over.

We had a lovely welcome by the owners of this great country pub. Stopping mid-morning for a coffee break, it was very pleasant to sit outside by a huge pot-belly fire in the winter sunshine. There is space for every occasion here: a cafe, the...public bar, function room, hotel and motel rooms, a lounge with a wood fire burning, covered outdoor spaces and a friendly golden lab, called Rolly to pat. There are several beers on tap, I tried Resch’s Ale which I recommend. On the board outside it seems that special meal nights are held throughout the week and the staff were preparing for a celebration event happening over the weekend. I didn’t see a ghost, but apparently there are two residing in this historic building! The atmosphere was 100% friendly, local-Ozzy hospitality. Put this place on your stop-off list, when travelling South of Canberra.More

We stopped here on a motorbike ride through NSW. Friendly staff and a relaxed country vibe. The pub offers lunch, beers and coffee at the joining cafe. Free camping if you're stuck on the highway and need somewhere to stop.

Great clean motel units next to old style pub. Very reasonable charge, great meals at pub can recommend the burgers. Friendly locals to have a chat with and pleasant hosts, Vicki and Ian. Book ahead if you can as not a lot of units.
