We enjoyed daily cooked breakfasts and an evening meal. All meals were well prepared and very tasty using fresh ingredients. Can highly recommend the pork medallions.

We recently stayed at the Inn for three nights, while we explored the area and admired the history and the wildflowers. We live in Perth but we haven't been "tourists" in this delightful area before. George and Gillian made the experience a real treat for...us, with fine dining in their beautiful Colonial style dining room and a cooked breakfast to start us off each morning. The room was beautifully furnished and we loved the four poster bed and Victorian decor.More

We had a lovely visit to this Bed and Breakfast, travelling with friends who took the other room (there are only 2 available). Both rooms were splendid - elegant, comfortable and welcoming. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the dining room,...which was also very good (complete with a splendid complimentary bottle of house wine), as was breakfast the following morning. All in all a lovely stay in some of the most beautiful country in the South West of Western Australia. Highly recommended,More

What a treat this place is. We stayed here in July for one night for a winter escape. Priot to arriving we knew we could potentially have dinner here, cooked by Gill & George themselves. Upon seeing the menu for this (sent in advance) we...couldn't resist. My steak was, without a doubt, THEE best steak I have ever had. It was sensational. My partner had the duck which too was just divine - as was our shared starter of smoked salmon, and shared dessert of Jamacian bananas (fantastic!). Our room was beautiful. A four-poster bed, with a gas fire in the lounge area. We also had a large walk in dressing room, complete with robes and also a fridge, tea & coffee sachets and facilities, fresh milk, sugar and sink area. Here we found homemade ginger biscuits as well as a token from George & Gill. Our bathroom had a huge spa corner bath, as well as very powerful shower. Was absolutely beautiful. A hairdryer was supplied also. Just absolutely magnificent and worth Every. Single. Cent. that we paid. I don't want to let the secret out, but I would encourage anybody to not hesitate for a second to book staying here!More

George and Gillian are such a lovely couple, and their darling cat George was a delight! We only had one night here for the Nannup Garden Festival, but would be great to spend a whole weekend here. The rooms are incredibly clean, warm and very...romantic. I loved the little touches like the home baked ginger nuts. Even though this couple have been in the industry for years ,they still made us feel welcome and important.More

My husband and I had a night here while attending the Nannup Garden Festival. Everything has been absolutely great: the suite was luxurious, the bed incredibly confortable, the spa in the bathroom..just wonderful. A lavish breakfast is included: we chose scrambled eggs and salmon (you...can have also the full English breakfast) with homemade jams and preserves, toasts and everything you can desire. It is worth to mention the great dinner, wonderfully prepared and served in the beautiful dining room, with Ginger the mascot cat sitting near the fireplace. We absolutely recommend this accomodation!More

We read the reviews and expected warmth. Did not feel welcome. Maybe the owner was having a bad day, but her tone of voice was quite rude and we got the impression that our arrival was a hassle. We handed back the keys to the...room and kept driving. Life's too short to put up with rude people. We weren't prepared to end our amazing summer holiday on a sour note. Enjoy the $160.More

Recently enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing two night stay at this incredible location! George and Gillian Lang are so welcoming and hospitable. Their warmth radiates. The rooms are clean (you could eat off the floors they are so clean!) and contain everything necessary for a...truly relaxing get away experience. central as it is in the heart of the beautiful south west, only a short leisurely drive to boutique and gourmet food and wine stops and lots of other exciting destinations along the way. There is no questioning the excellence of this top rated, award winning Bed and Breakfast. This really is a place you must tick off on the bucket list.More

We stayed just the one night in the Maslin Suite. The suite was spacious and clean with a wonderful "olde worlde" decor. The gas open fire was a nice touch and it was lovely to be able to enjoy some of the local wines whilst...sitting in front of it. We dined here also and the meals cooked by Gillian were fantastic. Soup of the day and Sauté' Lamb Kidneys Flambé for starters, Salmon Fillet with Lemon - butter Garlic Sauce and Crispy Duck Breast with Chambord & Redcurrant Sauce for mains and Cheese Board for one with Local Cheeses served by George. The full cooked breakfast of bacon and egg with sausage, mushrooms and tomato was also fantastic. The hospitality provided by Gillain and George was first rate.More

Stayed in the Davenport Suite recently for a quick stopover and it was just the most wonderful experience. The room itself was spacious, immaculate and supremely in touch with the period that it represented. The home made biscuits in our room were a delight and...added a lovely home style edge to our stay. We chose to eat in the Inn Keepers Restaurant (optional extra) and this was a further extension of hospitality from a bygone era in a delightful setting - a delicious 3 course meal on offer. This is a stunning and unique property, with wonderful hosts who have done their homework to provide the very best to this discerning niche market. A real credit to Gillian and George.More
