Had lunch with a couple of mates. First time here and not disappointed.place was busy and we got a table up the back . Food was great with lots of dumplings available. We also went a la carte with Singapore chilli prawns, Peking duck and...beef fillet. Also enjoyed some nice reds from Heathcote. Our waiter was excellent, can’t remember his name but this place is very goodMore

Was there over the weekend on 19 as my friends strongly recommended this. Sufficient portion. Good service. Reasonable price. Free top up of tea. Wide variety of food on the menu. Very comfortable seating.

My wife and I had a yum cha (dim sum) lunch here with friends recently. We come here regularly for lunch. The food was good. Service was okay. Prices are a bit high, probably due to the location (in an affluent suburb).

The fun of yum cha is being able to give into temptation as trolleys of steaming bamboo baskets trundle past your table. Not so, it seems, at this place on weekdays. Just a bleak two sided page in a plastic sleeve - no pictures even...to provide some inspiration. Order taken, food quickly served, portions on the smallish side, mostly quite delicate, service a little austere, plates then whipped away as soon as they were barely finished. At least we didn't leave groaning from too much food. A good thing, I supposeMore

I went for a pre film meal with my wife on a Saturday night. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who promptly showed us to our table. We shared delicious entrees and then ordered a couple of the chef’s special dishes (an outstanding scallop...and tofu dish with XO and an interesting chicken dish) with steamed rice. Service was attentive but not overbearing - this is an excellent local restaurant which was full of happy customers.More

I was expecting this to be great but sadly it wasn't. The restaurant was noisy so it was hard to talk, even though it wasn't full. Unfortunately the service was far too slow. We had to request courses to come on 4 occasions and then...all our mains did not come out at the same time. The food itself was average and did not match up to some of the other excellent options in Melbourne and suburbs.More
