One of the Best and only few Indian Restaurants I go to regularly. The ambience is warm & welcoming, Food is Authentic North Indian with the Taste so delicious that you feel like you are eating in India, above all the staff is very friendly...and helpful. I would recommend this Restaurant any day to anyone who wants to have the best indian food in Melbourne.More

My wife and I had read some good reviews and decided to give it a try. Staff were friendly and the place looked quite nice. Unfortunately the food did not reflect our initial experience. The chicken was very tough and there was not any vegetables...like onions in the sauce, basically just sauce and block of tough chicken. Nan breads were dry and crispy. We try to eat healthy so a curry is usually a real treat for us, but certainly not this time.More

We've enjoyed food from Punjabi curry cafe before. We received our order last night and while eating Nan bread found a hard lump of clear plastic whilst eating. Absolutely disgusting. I contacted them to inform them but got no response which I feel is very...poor. We will definitely not be eating anything from here again.More

Just a short walk from The Tote in Collingwood is The Punjabi Curry Cafe. With its Tandoor proudly on display you know you're in for a good time as soon as you enter the main dining room. Staff are friendly & efficient and offer the...classic range of Indian food. Ordering from the Tandoor is a must so we shared the Tandoor platter of mixed meats. When we have craving for Indian food and want to dine in - this is our first choice in the inner east-side near the city.More

I wish that I could report better service, but after walking in to see several delivery people picking up, I was told that the kitchen was closed and I couldn't get any food, despite the fact that they we're all picking up .

Surprised to see different views about this restaraunt but our experience with a party of 9 was great. Service was good, food was great and in regards to price it was just a little bit more expensive than normal Indian but we did have a...few extra beers. Will definitely go back especially to have their real smoky butter chicken.More

I’ve never written a review on TripAdvisor before but feel compelled to do so. We’ve previously had great meals at Punjabi Cafe and tried to order through Uber Eats. The delivery person could not find our house and was abusive on the phone. It’s a...shame but I’ll never ever use Uber Eat or go to Punjabi Cafe again. I feel violated by the disgusting experience.More

I ordered via "Eat Now" for a home delivery. The service was good, they even came a little earlier than advised, but that was fine with me. I ordered the Butter Chicken, coconut rice and garlic and cheese naan. To be honest I didn't enjoy...it, it wasn't too my taste and it was only just warm. Unfortunately I won't be back here.More

Have eaten at Punjabi Curry Cafe many times and it is always reliable. The food is very tasty, with numerous choices for those of us who don't like really hot dishes and the staff are always friendly. This isn't an upmarket restaurant - it's the...type of dependable neighbourhood restaurant where you can pop in for a good meal.More

Had driven past this restaurant many times over the years but had never visited. On a recommendation, we visited for a Saturday family dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is big and many tables were occupied with couples, families and larger groups. We hadn't...booked but a great table by the window was available. The food was fantastic (especially the tandoor oven items - tandoori chicken, butter chicken, naan), the price was very reasonable, and the service was exemplary. Would definitely recommend this place.More
