Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Popped in here on a trip to the north west from Hobart. Was recommended by a family member and without that I would g have known about it. Can highly recommend it! Delicious range of local foods, just the right amount of food, tasty in...a tastefully presented conservatory.More

No service ... oh my goodness so poor. Was there for 3 hours, never got asked if we wanted replacement drinks, or water and had our finished platter sit there for over an hour and a half. I had to wave to get it collected...then asked how I wanted to pay ... I asked if it was ok if we could have a coffee first .... there is nothing on the platters to hero the food ... just north south west and all. Very disappointed... must have new ownership as I’ve had lovely meals beforeMore

The food was excellent and the service was even better. Our Server had so much knowledge of the food, the spices, the wine. His wine recommendation of a Tamar Ridge Pinot was thoroughly enjoyed by the three who drank it. They even purchased an extra...bottle. I walked out with several condiments which we had enjoyed during lunch. This restaurant is a credit to Tasmanian produce and I highly suggest you put it on your Tasmanian foody adventure. My only criticism was the sticky table. This is a fairly common thing in eateries since Covid as it's sanitiser residue. I work for a large Tasmanian supplier of sanitiser, and whilst it must be used, the tables still need heavy hot water washing often to remove the residue. Thank you for our wonderful few hoursMore

After being told about this place we were excited to finally get there. While everything was platters as adults it was ok we found enough to have but the kids struggled the kids platter an apple juice, slice of cheese, couple of strips of bistu...TS a youguht, apple and chocolate were not work the price charged. Was about to buy a serve if the most expensive chips for them when the table next to us received a serve that was very small.so decided to buy them the donut. My wife enjoyed it and will be back for afternoon snacks and wine.More

It is a wonderful environment, unfortunately I think they charge for the environment and not the quality of food. The Christmas lunch was served as a platter, as a size for 2 consumed the whole table leaving little room for glasses. Small tables felt lonely....Beef was over cooked and duck fat potatoes not crispy. I would have expected better for the cost and the reputation of this establishment. Pudding though was great.More

This place is an absolute gem and is well worth a visit if you're in the area. The setting is gorgeous - one of the best cafe fit outs I've seen. The food was amazing. We had the platter with produce from across Tassie and...we had so much fun sampling all of the delights.More

With the opening up of travel restrictions we were keen to go for a drive and chose this venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is such a beautiful setting and clearly popular as it was very full (which made social distancing almost impossible- especially...at a shared table with other groups). Despite this the staff were friendly and the deluxe platter we shared was delicious. There was also a great selection of Tasmanian produce available for sale so we took home some treats too. All in all a lovely day out.More

Great takeaway coffee, however my wife ordered a takeaway cup of tea. Not a pot of tea to have there, just a little takeaway in a plastic cup. And we were charged $7. For a takeaway cup of tea. Despite the great coffee we won’t...be returning purely on principal - how ridiculous.More

So happy to have finally made it to the Tasmanian Food & Wine Conservatory whilst staying near Launceston for a birthday weekend. Every element of the local produce platter was delicious. Gorgeous decor and grounds surrounding the conservatory.

Tasmanian food & Wine conservatory A truly hidden gem! Right beside the fast moving highway is this beautiful old conservatory building that’s now used as a lush green cafe/ restaurant space. They proudly serve 100% Tasmanian produce - food and wine. They also have a...selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Make sure you stop for a lunch charcuterie board, or cheese board, or even just for a cup of tea and slice of cake. Wonderful and friendly service too. Coffee is excellent! Highly recommended!More

I don't take photos of any menus or anything like that as they change their menu depending on the season but I would say you can spend from $70-$100 depending what you get to eat and drink. Sorry if this doesn't help.
