I took a friend here for coffee and a sweet treat but we were delighted to see savoury food options as we’d arrived bang on lunchtime. The pizza slices were both generous in size and tasty, the coffee was great and the cannoli should be...considered a national treasure! The main downside was the venue had lots of tables of 4 (2 smaller tables pushed together), with only 2 people seated at them. Why not separate them out once you staff ascertain it’s a party of 2? We ended up seated out the back at a table for 6……yet there was only 2 of us. The staff are very friendly but not efficient. We had to request the table be cleared of previous diners plates etc. and the place wasn’t frantic. Maybe the staff just need to be a little more focused on their job as they seemed to be enjoying each other’s company as their main priority. But they’re young and a gentle push should help them along! The food and coffee is certainly what gives Cannoli Bar it’s 4/5 star rating.More

I initially attended cannoli bar when it opened. Owner was lovely attentive lets face it we like to go to our local coffee shops for the familiar faces of the staff not just the product. This afternoon there was only two customers around and 4...staff,the barrista didnt even look up to serve me and the other three were squealing because there was a spider on the ceiling. And still no service. At one point someone came out from the back and took my order and repeated it to the barrista who had been warming milk for what appeared to be an eternity without even acknowledging me. Then i was asked not once but four times if i was having in or takeaway. Needless to say i wanted them to listen the first time. With only two customers already seated and served most of the tables outside were laden with leftovers and dirty plates still uncleared. I go in there in the hope that one day they may become more friendly and efficient but every time its the same thing. They are lucky their product is good because they fail in so many other areas DisappointingMore

Fantastic little cannoli place. The cannolis are amazing and there’s other cakes as well. The coffee was awesome too and the service lovely. The place does a nice business and you can certainly understand why. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of tasting six different flavours of cannoli. They were all so tasty and delicious. A nice crunch and yummy fillings. 😋 not soggy and very fresh.

All I will say is wow!! After travelling to Sicily last year and having a cannoli from the homeland thought nothing would compare but this place has! Definitely get there and try the Classico with ricotta! And my fav also is the Oreo cannoli And...if you prefer custard you can have that. Many different types of Italian traditional sweets and delicious coffee 👌👌More

So much yumminess to choose from. We had the pasta of the day - home made fettuccine and ragout, finishing with a Nutella cannoli. Omg!! Great friendly service with delicious traditional food. Also good coffee. Definitely will make this a regular place. Thank you.

I read about the Cannoli Bar in Gourmet Traveller magazine and couldn’t wait to visit. We live 200kms away but the review drew us quickly visit. We were not disappointed . An old suburban milk bar that has morphed into a quirky little cafe making...what must be Melbourne’s best cannoli. Freshly filled to order , crisp and delicious, and flavours Melbourne had only dreamed about . Forget those soggy chocolate and vanilla excuses . These are filled with a delicious array of ricotta based creamy fillings and are to die for. We had a few slices of pizza ....a salty, anchovy and olive laden slice that was magnificent , and another with potato and mortadella . Fantastic . Service and their welcome was brilliant . I can’t rave enough . Gee, I wish they’d open in Shepparton !More

Saw this place on the movable feast on tv, started following them on fb. Made the drive to this place, which is not on a main road, but amongst houses, off a main road. It looks like if it was an old milk bar or...something before, attached to a dwelling. We arrived at 230pm on a Saturday, and the display cabinet was nearly empty. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, by a lovely gentlemen, who said he was sorry that all the special cannoli’s were all sold except for three. However, they still had all their standard cannoli, which they filled fresh on request, 5 different ones l think. We ordered 3 different cannoli, coffee and a small margarita pizza, which was already made and sitting on top of cabinet, on boards. All were delicious and fresh. We will go back to try something else on the menu. The cost was around $30 for what we ordered.More
