We were travelling in La Morra, it was a greasy weather . Cold in the winter time, so we went inside here for a coffee. Old style fashion, we could see the history. A simple coffee, normal taste, and we just kept going on. Maybe a dinner next time.

We had lunch inside, in between cupboards full of the best regional wines. Good risotto, nice glass of white wine (Arneis) and tiramisu and torte di amaretto for dessert.

We had here a lunch on the Piazza Castello. The view is on the surrouding wine villages is terrific, but also the food offered was perfect for a lunch. And if you choose to drink a bottle of wine you're invited to select a bottle in the Wine Shop and they just add 6 € - we had a perfect... More

we had a quick and quiet lunch here mid week. I think this place makes a good lunch option - either eat indoors surrounded by wine bottles and the real cellar feel or out on one of their patios (one of which has really good views if you look beyond the square). The patio spaces are pretty large so good... More

We just stopped here for a pre-dinner drink, nice wine bar, good wines. Service was so so, nice girl but not very loquacious. It was probably the wrong time of day as the place was rather empty. I think it is a daytime place, where people wonder in for wine tasting.

Lunch here was a treat. We were apprehensive at first as it looked a little like a tourist trap, located on the hill-top piazza with a fine view of the Barolo vinyards. In the event, lunch was excellent, well-cooked local specialities and a superb glass of Barolo wine. The setting (in the summer) is a real bonus. Staff were helpful... More

We're so glad that a local couple we ran into recommend Vineria San Giorgio. We had a lovely lunch out on the patio. My carpaccio and veal sausages were delicious and wife's caprese salad was wonderful with the buf mozzarella very very fresh. (too bad tomatoes weren't in season) House red wine fairly simple. Additionally loved the cozy little patio... More

Ok, so this is not the greatest gastronomic experience in the Langhe. However, in LaMorra it is a nice find to have a quiet glass, or bottle, of wine and some small bites or lunch. The interior of brick walls and wine bottles provides a cozy and pleasant feeling. Service is sufficient, if not spectacular. The choice of wines is... More
