The whole village was very quiet and it was disappointing that we lunched alone but our turkey dish was delicious, beautifully presented and freshly cooked. We enjoyed a good selection of fresh salad to start with. The decor is very traditional and we could imagine how busy it might get during the ski season. Clean linen table cloths and attractive... What I liked about Neuwirt was the authentic atmosphere, interior and the friendly service. But the food I did not like very much. The Wiener Schnitzel was too greasy and missed the typical flavour and texture I enjoyed elsewhere in Lofer. The fries that came with it were also not really good, big and dry. The salad was the worst,... More

Had dinner there with the family and I found the food less than average. The service was great, though!

I like using this method, as locals with no vested interest in any particular restaurant will usually tell you their honest opinion. After receiving repeated recommendations for the Landgasthof "Neuwirt", we decided to give it a... More

I do like this place. Food is great and service so friendly. I had the pork in pumpkin seeds - best pork meal I have had. Shared apple strudel with vanilla sauce with my wife for dessert.

Always fresh homecooked food. Traditional austrian dress worn. Best to book as gets busy. Have english menus, which is helpful, but you have to ask for 'English'.

We opted for the daily menu - choice of 2 one 15.5 euro and the other 17 euro, 3 heavenly courses- all the food freshly made using locally grown products where possible and using whatever is seasonal at the time. - When we went it was Asparagus. The venison was to die for - with home made herb dumplings in... More

Excellent food, great service. Local cuisine cooked and presented well. Worth a visit to see the collection of jugs and teapots!
