This was a really good food experience - you can have a 3-5 course menu or a la carte. There's a splendid wine card - and the waiter knows about it and understand to match food and wine - go for her recommandations! There's a fish soup a la Marseilles, which is the test of the kitchen - and in... More

My husband took me here for a date night as the restaurant was near our home. The service and the food were nice - nothing to complain about. We took the 4 course menu (for 400 dkk) which was an ok price for the menu. All food was great apart from the dessert which was a bit of a disappointment;... More

Excellent 5 course menu. We had salmon on cucumber, artichoke soup (spectacular) mushroom ravioli then veal or salmon then cheesecake. All very good indeed. The service though was special too. Friendly with a light touch. Professional but pleasant.

Still highly recommendable even though I had my doubts when entering a packed restaurant. Dinner was still served on burning warm plates and by a professional waiter. Some places are worth returning to, and this is one of those.

We were there for lunch which was very good, but pretty expensive too. We had two dishes each (appetizer-sized) and sparkling water which amouted to about 350kr. One of the dishes was jerusalem artichoke soup which was nothing less than amazing! The service was (unlike most Copenhagen-places) polite and competent. In spite of the prices I would probably visit again... More

Went for business dinner with foreign customers and wanted to give the impression of Danish hospitality and the well-known cosiness “hygge” and Danish design and chose Reinwald’s. The price indicated small servings especially given a 5 course set menu but I was happily surprised and my suspicions were deeply confounded: The chef claims that all sauces and soups are made... We were there on a saturday evening and chose the 3-course pack. The food was great and price is reasonable. Service is very good, but i think it could be more casual, based on danish standards. The kids meal are cheap, simple and our children liked it.

Very good food and wine card. A lot of space and wonderful service! Excellent fish: try the mullet! The unghane (cockerel) tastes Good . The desserts are refreshing with good products . The personnel is helpful discrete and smiling. Try and you will spend a quiet and enjoyable moment.

We dined at reinwalds and the restaurant was empty when we entered; later in the evening only 3 more guests arrived. Service was attentive, the fish courses have been very good; meat dishes on the other hand did not excite us: for both lamb (lammeskank) and beef steak you needed good teeth! The most disappointing was their handling of payment:... More

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
