Paid a return visit here for Sunday lunch based on previously good experience and again was impressed. Excellent choice range for Sunday lunch with 5 starters, 6 mains and 6 desserts. Presentation and taste combinations were very enjoyable. Would have liked to try all the starters! Shame that they do not do a platter of the starters!

We dined on a Sat night, with the 7 course taster menu. We had a great evening. Firstly the food was excellent. We eat at a lot of fine dining restaurants (with stars) and the Samuel Fox did not disappoint us. Every dish was well thought out, complimented the menu and executed to perfection. The food is fairly simple (which... More

Bright and pleasant atmosphere but only one set menu (with options) of which we were not advised when booking. Things got a bit messed up resulting in incorrect meals being brought to table resulting in delay.

After we have previously had good experiences here we booked for lunch on 29 January on the restaurants website The website stated that the place was to be re opening on 27 January and as far as we were concerned the booking was confirmed on the restaurants website. When we arrived after a 45 minute journey we found the place... More

We would like to again extend our sincere and unreserved apologies to the reviewer and her husband for this very regrettable incident. We had believed we had taken all necessary steps to avoid any such an occurrence during our extended shut down period but, for reasons we do not understand we clearly failed on this occasion. There can be no... More

Popped in here Friday night on the off chance of grabbing a bite to eat after arriving in the beautiful village of bradwell and although the dining area was full the very friendly barman suggested we could sit in the corner of the bar if that was ok, it was more than ok being sat next to an open roaring... My housband and I just touched the sky!! It was so unpredictably delicious! We were in Hope village just for one night and had no idea about where we are going, and finally we discovered such a tastiness! We will come back again during our next visit of Peak district! We were served by very nice and professional waiter! But... More

Was totally stunned at what we got when we looked at the menu. Was very surprised, pleasntly, what a great experience, the food was unbeleival, the service was second to none. We were not expecting a fine dining experience, yet got it, it was superbly presented, and had the taste buds tingling. We were treated very well by the staff... More
