The Two Oceans Restaurant opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 300 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location

Fantastic view, even from inside. Excellent service everyone attentive and very kind. But the kitchen... Pretentious and just not good. It s quite clear they are saving on ingredients and preparation. Everyone understands the struggle restaurants have been through but i don t think dressing...salads with canola oil, using some mushroom instead of shitake (as per menu) or just adding lots of potatoes to the seafood platter is the way out. I would have paid an extra 100 bucks for a proper meal....More

Spent a wonderful afternoon with my family. Views are spectacular from the outside deck. Kay-lynn's service was on point and the food was delicious. Surprisingly well priced too.

I visited the Two Oceans restaurant with my father while the rest of our family went to the top of Cape Point. We intended to only have a couple of drinks and enjoy the view while we waited. The menu looked very good though and...we ended up having some starters, the cheese board and a dessert. The s'mores dessert sounded amazing and the presentation and taste lived up to the expectations. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend a stop at the Two Oceans restaurant for all who visit Cape Point.More

This restaurant does not seem to take Covid-19 seriously. We had an arrogant, rude front of house tell us to “just deal with it” when we asked to move tables when our neighbouring table was uncomfortably close, violating all reasonable COVID-19 protocols. On arrival, we...were told that every other table was not being used due to social distancing protocols being instituted, which seemed reasonable. Soon after we were seated, a group of around 8 people wanted to be seated at a nearby table in use. Unfortunately, this table seated 6, and so the front of house, Kuda, proceeded to join one of the unused tables near us to the in-use table. This resulted in us being uncomfortably close to the neighbouring table. When I asked Kuda if we could then move to another table which was unoccupied, he informed us that that table was not in use, due to the restaurant’s COVID-19 protocols. After pointing out that if we were to move to the unoccupied table, we would in fact be further away from people than our original table, he rudely replied back, “you have to just deal with it.” I was quite furious with this answer, and asked to speak to manager, Samantha, who apologized, and moved us to another table. While the service by the rest of the staff, including Samantha and our waiter Sven, was good, and the coffee excellent, the entire experience left a sour taste, and I did not leave the restaurant happy. In summary, I was shocked at the arrogance shown by Kuda and his callous disregard of the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic. I also think the restaurant’s futile and inadequate COVID-19 protocols need a serious rethink. I would not go back to the restaurant, and I would recommend others don’t go either, at least until the pandemic is over. As for Kuda, I think he should consider changing careers, because I think being a front of house is not suited to his personality.More

Had lunch here. There was some confusion about social distancing and table spacing on the deck... which is the best place to sit. The food was very tasty - we had fish of the day and tempura prawns and corn. Its not the cheapest place,...and I wish they would make the menu a little less "fancy" - not sure you need ham in the sauce for the line fish... Service was fast and kind and the mad butter crazed starlings made the meal that much more interestingMore

We had some deep fried calamari for starters and while I had the catch of the day for main meal (white salmon with edamame beans), my husband had some pork belly. Both dishes were beautifully cooked and so delicious. Sven our waiter was very professional...and his service was top notch. He didn’t lie about the food, it was really tasty and affordable and also looked high class. We loved it and would definitely go back.More
