We ordered take away from this restaurant as it’s next to the caravan park we’re staying at. We ordered the pad Thai and beef masaman curry which came to $49 in total. It was without a doubt, the BEST Thai food we’ve ever had in...Australia! Very authentic, decent portion sizes, can’t complain about the food at all! Wish we were staying longer than one night so we could eat there again.More

We were staying at the Kalgan River Caravan park for a few nights, and after a long drive "down", we didn't feel like heading back into Albany town for dinner. Realised there was a Thai restaurant out the front of the caravan park - thought...we'd give it a go. WOW - so glad we did! The service was a bit slow as the place was full (add to that a seemingly endless stream of customers coming in to pick up take-aways) but the staff were very friendly. The food was not cheap but it was extremely tasty and filling. We had two entrees and two mains (plus rice and roti) and we struggled to clear our plates (but we did as the meals were absolutely delicious and there was no way we were going to leave anything behind!). Curry puffs, spring rolls, massaman curry and chicken cashew nut. The place is BYO as well - an extra gold star! The restaurant decor is warm and inviting, and we look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended.More

We had dinner at Jangs last night. The food was amazing. Smaller menu but plenty of choice. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend visiting this gem. BYO

After a recommendation from a neighbour, we went to Jang’s Cafe expecting a good , standard Thai meal. After a delicious entree of spring rolls and curry puffs, I chose a green chicken curry and my husband ordered a beef Massaman curry. Both of these...were excellent, full of fresh, local vegetables and herbs. The service was great, too. Jang’s cooking is outstanding and we’ll definitely be returning.More

If you are looking for authentic Thai, this is definitely the place to go!! Jang puts a lot of love into her cooking and always produces fresh, delicious Thai food. The wood fires pizzas are also fantastic and great value.

Thai. Run of the mill Thai food at exhorbinate prices. $18.95 for fried rice! Owner a bit arrogant and up himself. BYO so at least you can save a bit there. Was closed when advertised as open also. Very frustrating. Joop in Albany is better....Lovely deco tho. Big wood fired pizza oven. You can only have 1 choice of pizza. Who does that? Large, value at $10 but I would still like to have a choice of toppings to some degree. Average restaurant, wouldn't bother with it again.More

We were recommended to call in for Sunday lunch, booking recommended. Choice of beef with roasties and Yorkshire pud, lamb and pork belly together with selection of vegetables. Cannot believe $20 a head. Will definitely be eating here again, food superb, where in Albany can...you get a meal like this on a Sunday and BYO with no corkage charges. I believe they do the usual dishes mid-week lamb shanks, beef cheeks etc and have a pizza oven for eveningsMore
