I went to Stonehaven with my son and we decided to go to the Waterfront Cafe Bar for something to eat and drink. It was fairly busy and we went to sit by the window but asked by the owner/manageress if it was just the two of us. We said yes and were told to sit at a smaller table... More

We came here for some lunch after walking around the harbour and town centre. It wasn't too busy, so we got a table and within about 5 minutes, we were served. I ordered the club sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the panini. Both arrived within 10 minutes- very quick! Both meals were delicious and consumed fast! I am sure we... More

We had various coffees. All were good. Nice and hot. The others opted for scones, which they enjoyed. I went for sausage on a roll, which was also good

Lovely find for superb breakfast on Easter Sunday and great scones to bring away with us. Great view of sea too - couple that with friendly staff it gets 5 stars in my book!

Went with family for a family Sunday Breakfast! We all had the full English breakfast and it filled us up! They were great portions and a pretty standard full English! We had a great sea view and the staff were very friendly!

I always feel like I'm somewhat betraying the local community by eating at a chain or supermarket, so we decided to go to the waterfront cafe. On a beautiful sunny day it still managed to be dark and dingy inside due to the ancient wood paneling. I would have liked to have known that going for the soup and panini... More

Doesn't look very appealing from the outside but deceptivly bright & airy inside. Plenty of tables, small play corner & an outside seating area facing the water. Decent menu selection & selection of home baking. Hubby & I both had soup/sandwich combos - both nice. Waitress service which is always a bonus. Friendly staff. Prices average. Would return

Stopped for lunchtime break on long journey. Ordered breaded haddock, can't have battered because of allergies. Waited quite a while then got battered haddock. Managed to pick the fish out of the batter so all was not lost. Salad OK.

It had been a while since I had been to the Waterfront so decided to go with the family for breakfast . We were warmly greeted and told to take a seat. After waiting a few minutes to give us time to decide what we wished to eat the waitress came and in a very friendly manner asked if ready... More

Visited twice recently for lunch. Had soup and toastie/Panini combo. Just alright, feels like it is just rushed onto the plate though. Cullen skink the first time was great, tomato and basil the second time wasn't good. Thick lentil-like soup that didn't taste much of anything let alone tomato or basil. Good menu selection and nice views over the beach/sea.
