Ate lunch as this open air restaurant and my wife was undecided, so asked the chef to surprise her. After asking her a few questions, the owner/chef put together a wonderful seafood pasta with lobster, fish, clams and shrimp. I ordered off the menu and it also was excellent. Service was not what we Americans would call speedy, but everyone... More

We enjoyed everything but would have come back every night for the carbonara. So rich and creamy. Great location in the heart of Las Galeras.

Las Galeras at Samaná must be one of the few remaining, remote, small, oceanfront villages that stick in your memory with such strong images that turn inevitable your repeat visit . It happened to us. We've been there three times. After our stay we may feel like, enough: next time to a different place. But, sooner or later, an urgent... More

This little French restaurant is situated on a little street in downtown Las Galeras. The food and service we received was excellent. Theta ok shrimp appetizer were amazing. I would recommend the beef filet and the seafood pasta. The pricing was very reasonable and all the seafood was very fresh. The owners were quite lovely.

The restaurant is very simple, but the food is delicious. We ordered a fish and crawfish, and both were amazing. The price is worth the quality.

We ordered the garlic shrimp and chicken and mushroom pasta. Both were very good. Also pleased with service and price. Would recommend to travellers visiting Las Galeras!

The food here is really quite remarkable--the four of us were all convinced it was one of the two best restaurants we tried in Las Galeras. My better half was absolutely stunned with the quality of her langoustine pasta, and Yves take on traditional goat stew was so good it made my nearly delirious.

We weren't really expecting haute cuisine in this sleepy little village, but Chez Denise has snagged a very accomplished chef. He makes classic dishes with the freshest local ingredients and does it very, very well. Our server was a delight and very helpful. The price, while a little high for the D.R., was very reasonable for the quality of the... More

Went for lunch, shared the seafood carpaccio and the seafood bisque, and were blown away. Served with real italian bread (unlike the wonder bread served everywhere else). Returned for dinner the next day and had an amazing steak with mushrooms, roast potatoes and veggies, and an incredible risotto with prawns. Judging from the surrounding diners' satisfaction, I think every single... More
