I can't even believe the amazing experience I had here. My boyfriend and I were only here 2 days, and Ton was such an amazing host. We got in super late and he came right out and greeted us! Showed us our cabin tent, it was the newest one made with a little triangle window in a loft so you... More

The Dancing Moose Cafe is absolutely wonderful! The location is tucked away on the Cabot Trail but only a 30 minute drive from Ingonish beach. I immediately felt welcome upon arriving at the Dancing Moose and enjoyed the 3 days I spent there. The food was great. It super convenient to be able to grab something delicious and filling in... We came in early and Tom had been killed during enough to already have our cabin ready and the door unlocked while he stepped out to dinner. When he came back he checked out us right away. Was so friendly and accommodating. We didn't bring our own bedding for the cabin and Tom brought us each sets. The bedding was... More

Stop here for lunch. Never have had a Pannekoeken. I had the apple and bacon. It was delicious. The wait staff was great, they had wifi, and we had a good view of the ocean.

We stopped here on our last leg of biking the Cabot Trail. We were very happy with our fortuitous choice. The restaurant has a beautiful view, which is what initially caught our attention. Inside, the warm, folksy restaurant is welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. When they recognized that we were biking, they kept the water pitcher filled for... More

My husband and I happened upon this place and it was a gift!! We both had the Pannekoeken, which is a Dutch crepe. I had bacon and apples and my husband had vegetables and cheese. They were both very tasty. I asked for a fruit cup and it was the best one I ever had! It was small but enough... More

Best lobster chowder and best cauliflower and broccoli soup. Stopped at this little restaurant on the Cabot Trail not really sure what to expect. When asked about their soups the waitress commented that it was the best ever and we wouldn't be disappointed. Well...she was right. Very good and I think they run out of because the next people coming... More

We stayed overnight at zzzz Moose cabins and had breakfast here before setting off in the morning. The Dutch pancakes were amazing!! Even the small ones were a good size and fed my daughters and I, making it a great value! The owners and people working there were so friendly and helpful. You definitely have to add this stop to... The pannenkoeken (sp?) is like a light pancake and I had one with apples and raisins. It was very good. My wife had a good seafood chowder and bought a Dancing Moose tee shirt as a souvenir. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. Good view. This is one of those unique places that you should check out, especially... More
