The fact that this place caters for people who have just walked miles and don't even ask them to take their boots off to those that want fine dining. Outstanding as soon as you walk through the door. My wife and I and some friends visited this place and wanted fine food and fine wine, we were not disappointed in... More

Chose this pub to stop for lunch on the way to Ludlow, using Trip Advisor for advice and we weren't disappointed. Very easy to find and not busy at all when we got there. The food was very good, excellent value for money and service friendly.

I have been here a few of times with my family and they always go out of their way to put together a vegan menu for me. It is not simply one choice either. They usually give at least 3 options for start and main. Each time it is different as they cook it from scratch. The place itself is... More

Stopped here while walking the Weaver Way. Food is good and staff very accommodating to us. It is adjacent to the river so its a great halfway point between the start in Frodsham and Northwich. Also good if you are walking the Trent and Mersey Canal path. Worth walking the extra 200 yards down the hill.

Another great day here with lots to see. Vintage bikes traction engines and boats. Hosted by a great pub on the river weaver.

We enjoyed an excellent family meal at this very well kept pub / restaurant. The balance carefully created between creating the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and running a very professionally managed operation works perfectly. The variety and creativity of the menu - especially the specials board - was a treat for us all and as a bonus the portions were truly... More

We often call in for a pint and/or food. Always good. This weekend is steam weekend - great display of rollers, traction engines, lorries and scaled-down models, plus, this year, the Daniel Adamson - the Manchester Ship Canal Company tug turned inspection launch - newly restored with the help of almost £4 million lottery funding and donations from small contributors.... The Leigh Arms acts like a pub with orders and payments at the bar but then provides an imaginative menu, well cooked and presented, good sized portions served by friendly staff. The atmosphere was light and airy; the toilets were clean with ample hot water. We had a thoroughly enjoyable, leisurely lunch. Highly recommended.

This is a great pub for Sunday dinner with a good deal for two and three courses. The staters were lovely and you can get a one off children's Sunday dinner which was good, we got the kids a plate of spicy wedges as a starter . There is also a great beer garden and older kids can play while... More
