Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Delicious breakfast on the way from Hervey Bay to Rocky. Eggs Benedict were perfect; pancakes delicious. Potato rosti with tomato relish was also well done. The place had a Canadian theme in both the food and decor which works really well - it’s a bit...incongruous sitting in what feels like a Whistler ski chalet while the temperature outside hits 35°.More

You couldn't find a friendlier, more welcoming place to stop and have some delicious food! Plus, they have table service - a really nice change from a lot of counter-service experiences we have in Australia. It was great to see some of the Canadian food...options, but it's the little extra effort they've made with the decorations and "Canadian fun facts" that make it even more special. And the staff were extremely friendly and dedicated - they were cleaning the glass until it was spotless and everything was really well tended. Don't let the outside signage fool you (it looks a little rundown) - once you step inside you'll see how well they've furnished and maintained the place!More

Was trying to buy milk for my tot’s bottle, but told they wouldn’t sell it to me. Told instead to go up the road further to the service station… I don’t mind having to walk, but crossing 4 lanes of traffic with a pram was...no fun at all! Can’t see me going back any timeMore

Hi, As we have mentioned previously, we unfortunately aren't legally allowed to on-sell our milks; they come from suppliers with a single label and it goes against our food licence to do so. As our staff politely informed you, the service station 300m just down...More

We have dined at this restaurant several times before and were greeted by pleasant helpful staff, the decor and seating are still warm and friendly. The service was good, but the food isn't what it use to be. The lunches we ordered were very ordinary,...small portions and expensive for what came out on the plates. The menu and what came out on my plate were different and the variety of meals and what used to be included with the meals has also shrunk.More

We stopped by Mollydookers after a morning out with friends. We found the staff to be very friendly and genuine. The owner was super funny and a bit of a joker. The venue was super clean with tidy amenities. Meals came out promptly and the...food was flavourful and delicious. I have a family full of fussy chefs and would be happy to take them to Mollydookers.More

En route from Gold Coast to Yeppoon we found this little gem here on Trip Advisor. Not much to look at from the outside, but walk in for fabulous food, service and great ambience. Bravo to the staff, excellent lunch stop!

We visited here on Friday for a late lunch. I have not been there for a number of years - in fact, it was with the previous owners when I did. I must admit I was blown away by how lovely everything looked. So beautifully...renovated and decorated. Loved the Canadian touches - as did our Canadian friends when we sent photos while we talked and waited for our food. We have had take away pizzas in the last twelve months and ordered them again. They were as good as we expected - freshly made, lots of lovely toppings and the crusts just right. The Cheesy toast and Yam fries were perfect. I would have to say their fries are worth the visit alone. They are the best ever! As it was a special occasion (we farewelled her daughter who is returning to Townsville) we shared a Xango for dessert. Wow! White chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake wrapped in a tortilla, deep fried and sprinkled in cinnamon sugar was amazing. Very yummy and recommend sharing as it was very rich in taste! My husband is not a cheesecake fan and he opted for dessert from the selection of cakes and pastries. He chose a passionfruit slice and was very impressed. Both desserts were served with ice cream. Now I need to return to try out their coffee. And I am sure there will be another dessert that tempts me as well. Highly recommend this little restaurant. The staff are friendly, service was quick. It was a delight all round.More

Firstly, I loved the atmosphere, the decor and the music. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. When I explained I have Coeliac Disease and cannot consume gluten I was pretty amazed at the number of food options available to me. It is...rare for me to ever have much choice. I was in fact spoilt for choice. The meal was wonderful. Great flavours and textures. My mother and son also enjoyed their meals. A big highlight for me was them making be a gluten-free waffle with maple syrup and ice-cream. A dish like that is a truly rare treat for a Coeliac. The meal was also good value for money.More

We were travelling from Brisbane to the Capricorn Coast and stopped here because of the good reviews but our experience was awful. We waited 45 minutes to be served although the place was half empty. We ordered two veggie salads and a kids meal. The veggies and...sauce in the salads were overcooked (burnt), there was a bitter taste to them. Not nice at all.The kid's nuggets were ok. When I paid, the girl at the counter did not offer me a copy of the bill, I got suspicious and asked for one: I had asked for a glass of milk for my daughter (they gave her a very small one), I am used to being charged between $1 and $2, they charged $3. My husband asked for a double espresso which is usually around $4, they charged us $5 for 2 short blacks. ( a medium flat white with 2 shots was $4.5 but just 2 shots were $5).I felt I was being ripped off, I know it is only a small amount of money but it felt like I was at one of those places where they ripp tourists off because they know they are not coming back. Shame on you Mollydockers people!More

Everytime we pass on the highway we see it's busy and think we should try there one day. We'll today was that day and it did not disapoint. We were in Childers and found that there was nothing there that took our fancy so I...called and made a booking saying we would be there in 10 minutes and they had a table! The food and service was great and my son loved his milkshake. While we were there, the restaurant filled up pretty quickly proving it to be a popular place. We will be back for dinner.More

The answer is yes to both almond and lactose free. There were certainly a number of menu items containing and/or featuring avocado - but milk ? I don't know. I was unaware there was avocado milk available.
