Absolutely a place to go once in the neighbourhood. Delicious food (both the small and big dishes), excellent service, nice ambience, fantastic surprise to find a restaurant of this quality in such a small town! Regional delicacies and Italian cuisine - I would love to come back there!

Highly recommended if you end up in Palmanova. Simple but incredible food. The chef welcomed us, recommended us dishes and came back to check on us

This café is in the centre of palmanova and is one of the places to go. We were just there for a breakfast of toasted ham and cheese sandwich and coffee which was good. Lots of sweet things were also on offer. Good service.

Set in a walled city built by the Venetians in 1593. This little gem is set right on the main square. We enjoyed every moment of our meal here. We started with the house made prosciutto, which was the best I have ever eaten. Then we shared anumber of items all of which were absolutely delicious. I would go back... More

My second visit, also my second review, finally we gave them a chance for a proper lunch. Lunch it is, as they offer several easy meals and a hoard of what I would call appetizers. A small group is bound to try as many as possible to get the full impression of the house philosophy. Seasonal and local ingredients rule.... More

This place was highly recommended so we stopped by after dinner for an ice-cream and coffee. However , they seemed more annoyed of our presence than welcoming. As we were looking at the menu the waitress just stood over us until we made our order even though we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu. The small... More

Beautifully designed bar, overlooking the main square. Good service but expensive for what it is. I paid 7 euros for 2 small chinottos (soft drinks, 275ml bottle). To put it into perspective, a glass of prosecco, in most places in the region, wouldn't cost more than 2.5 euros.

This is one of our favourite places in Italy. Actually one of the favourite places anywhere. One can see that Nereo and Marina (the owners) do things not only for the money but from their deep love for food and everything good. You will always get the most amazing cold cuts and cheeses here, selected wines, fantastic bread from Matera... More
