Ate here a few times during our stay. Great menu choice from steak to fresh homemade pizza. Staff so friendly and accommodating to our large party of 11.

We have eaten here many times before, the fillet steak is fantastic, lasagna wonderful as always, Prawn risotto was apparently scrumptious!! And Prawn linguine was tasty ... how this is not No1 in Luz I do not know.

We visited Alloro on our last night in Praia da Luz. Having been to various local restaurants (most very good) we felt it wasn't more than fair to also try a local Italian restaurant. Alloro is situated at the edge of Luz at the side of a resort but don't be put off by this. It's a lovely restaurant with... More

We were staying in Baia da Luz with our little kid and my father in law. Most of the time we were just sticking with the flow so we never booked any places for dinner. Some of the evening when we felt like staying at home we were ordering take away in the Restaurant Alloro. I cannot value the service... More

Places to go in the winter are limited and this is a great place to go, warm airy great food and service with plenty of at the door parking, not sure about the wild camping motorhomes though, great if you are a motorhomer.

This place is charming in its enthusiasm for accommodating children., and its ability to be accommodating with a smile consistently. For a very friendly great meal in a great atmosphere, you will not be disappointed. For a quiet romantic meal, it would not be my first choice. But, if you appreciate affable, attentive, generous staff, you will not be disappointed.... More

During our meal my boyfriend fell ill (nothing to do with the food here). The staff were kind enough to arrange for our food to be taken away. They were extremely attentive and genuinely seemed to care. The ambience seemed really nice and its a shame we didnt get to enjoy our meal there. However our little takeaway was delicious.... More

Our party of 29 people all thoroughly enjoyed our night at Alloro. It is a real skill to get it right for so many people. We had to order from a more limited menu in advance, but all the food was superbly cooked, large portions, very good value, and served with a smile!!! A particular highlight for me was the... More
