Appetizers were below average - the sample Boricua was a selection of bland over-fried items. Entrees were average, but when considering the price, we felt over-priced. The one that stood out was Medallones de Cerdo Rellenos.

If you are looking for fresh seafood you can't go wrong here. Set back from the road, it is a little hard to find. You are past it before you see it but it is worth seeking out. Grouper done three ways, land crab, lobster done several ways along with several dishes with shrimp. The large breaded shrimp was the... More

We came in strangers and left feeling like family! Loved that our waitress, Rumi, engaged our kids and encouraged them to order their meals in Spanish. Food was delicious. The "Frankie Special" was a hit, the Pina colada was unreal and mojito was unforgettable. We are headed back again this week for our last meal before we head back to... More

Nothing glamourous or gourmet but very friendly staff and good food. This is local flavour so expect fresh cooked local fish and camerone along with Puerto Rican specialties. Prices are reasonable. As this is local and fresh, don't expect a rapid meal in minutes but lay back and enjoy the company.

We found this little eatery just down the street from our beach house and we had appy's one day. The food was very good as we enjoy eating the local foods. Knowing a little Spanish can be helpful but it's not absolutely necessary. The people were friendly, the beer was cold and the prices were cheap !!

Great food and great people. Hands down the best meal we have had in Puerto Rico and the best service. They even stayed open late to serve us since our day ran long driving from Rincon. I'm only sorry we didn't stop here sooner. Will definitely be on the agenda for our next trip. Grouper and steak were wonderful. Conversation... More

The chef has improved the dishes which are mainly seafood. Fresh seafood that is. Service excellent and food came out fast! Drinks are good!

For our last day in Loiza we decided to try out this local restaurant a short walk from where we lived. We where not disappointed. We had land Crab filled tostones for a starter and some mixed seafood and land crabs as a main dish and everything tasted fantastic. The only thing that was a little bit disappointing where the... This place was founded in 1960. You can tell as the place has never been remodeled. Following a recommendation from friends, we visited the place today. I must say, the service is excellent. They treat you real good. The place has no A/C (never had) and there was no need for that. Do not expect any luxeries, you can go... More
