A friendly village local - menu reflective of the usual type of fare - burgers, pies, fish & Chips etc. I chose the latter which was obviously freshly cooked and tasty. An excellent selection of cask ales complimented the food.

Excellent food, great service, large selection of drinks. Better is than the owners do lots of social things for the village that create a great atmosphere.

What more could you want from an English pub than a fine plate of Newmarket sausages, mash and gravy all washed down with a pint of a local golden ale. Yum!

Looks good from outside but old fashioned pub food which has lost its way. Not at all adventurous and little atmosphere at lunchtime. Quirky place.
