Looks good from outside but old fashioned pub food which has lost its way. Not at all adventurous and little atmosphere at lunchtime. Quirky place.

Called in for lunch having been touring the area. Very impressed with the friendly, attentive service and the fact that our dogs were allowed in the bar area. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. Would certainly visit again.

Found this pub to be a little expensive food wise, whilst it was very good it did seem to be pricey at £60 for 3 one course meals and 3 drinks (2 non alcohol) Service was good

We eat at least once a week at the Black Horse, mainly Sundays for the roasts. We meet friends here, enjoy a drink and usually end up eating.
