Stopped here for an hour after climbing Mt Dandenong. Magnificent views from the outdoor dining area. Great coffee and snacks. Efficient and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

We attend this restaurant for our Anniversary and we were more then happy with the wait staff who were attentive and helpful, the lamb rack for two people at $80 was cooked to perfection as were the smashed chat potatoes. There are a few things...that could be attended to make this venue a better experience for example the table we were at was unstable and required a foot on the table base so it was steady and didn’t rock. There are no bread rolls or bread provided on the table and when asked if any was available the answer was no we don’t do that here. The toilets were clean but the locks on the doors were broken and seem to have been from a long time, there was a trail of toilet paper leading from the women’s toilet which was there when we arrived and when we left a few hours later. The decor is very 80’s and could do with an upgrade along with the tables and chairs, this review isn’t a criticism of the venue, just if you are wanting to be known as a fine dining establishment then you need to be one not just have fabulous food and serviceMore

Sure, the view is nice ... but I would strongly recommend against eating in their 'restaurant' (if you could call it that). A terrible experience.

Spent a very enjoyable family evening here. Food was very good, well cooked and presented. The service was friendly and professional and we were not rushed at all. The atmosphere was very good and overall it was a very pleasant evening.

Went on romantic dinner date and was very impressed with the food and service (after reading mixed reviews). We both thought the food was delicious. Dozen mixed Oysters for entree, Natural were nice and fresh & Pear/chilli was unusually interesting. Slowcooked braised beef short rib...was delicious. Stuffed roast chicken breast was nice and tasty. Definitely like to try the rest of the menu and share soon. Although they had 3 service staff down that night (whom apparently called in sick), our waitress was very lovely and tried her best to make our night special. View was superb although smoggy over CBD it made for a delightful sunset.More

Fantastic place to visit to get an awesome view of Melbourne however I would advise just paying your $7 and taking in the panoramic views and skip the restaurant. The food is overpriced and extremely average. If you pay prices like that you don't expect...overcooked and tough lamb, duck and kangaroo! Also for those vegans out there there is very little on their menu unless you want soggy oily eggplant. I would advise if you do decide to eat here make sure you have a table that looks through the glass and not the plastic cafe blind. Major disappointment!More
