Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When we asked for a drink, got told by the barman to “F**k off, we don’t have anything you want here.” Wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here.

We drove from Pirie on Friday, looking for somewhere different. I had spicy chicken an the wife had calameri. Absolutely delicious. The lady chef cooked to perfection. Tender chicken, crispy chips, salad bar. We're glad we tried it. We'll definately be back soon Very impressed....They even found our car keys, which I lost before dinner. Great night, thankyou.More

Dropped into the Crystal Brook Railway Hotel Sunday the 29th October 23, meet the owners Rodd and Tracey. Both Rodd and Tracey and their Team are very well spoken. Welcoming to anyone who walked through the doors in fact. Never been there before and never...read any review about the Railway Hotel. I would mark the Staff and Hotel as 10/10. I would recommend, that you never judge another, and you must try the experience your self. As I mentioned, I had not read any of the other reviews, however I did not experience any of the like as mentioned in other reviews. Great Country Hotel and Great Staff.More

I can’t tell you what the food was like because we were practically kick out, staying the night in Crystal Brook we thought we would have dinner at the pub the female staff member didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in and we sat...at a table without a reserved sign on it only for a man to come into the dinning room and abruptly ask us if we had a booking when we said no he repeatedly told us you have to have a booking, we understand if you are booked out and if he had of said sorry guys we are booked out tonight we would of been alright with that but he was so rude to us and our six year old daughter such a pity we found the town to be very pleasant and would recommend going to the Royal Hotel down the road insteadMore

1. The corner above the coffee maker is a danger Hit my head twice. Needs to be higher or not at all.See p.o.. on my previous post 2. The room door is very stiff. 3. Tap in shower, turn RIGHT for hot water. Tap in...hand basin turn LEFT for hot ware. Change plumber 4. Recess in shower too small to hold shampoo. Buy smaller bottles 5, The most dangerous IMHO is the huge piece of glass in the bathroom? Thus is AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. Inevitably some guest will try and walk through the glass and be knocked backwards. This need to be fixed before the accident happens. Hope these suggestions are found go be helpfulMore

Stayed overnight and had evening meal. Average pub fare but tired small salad and charged extra for barely heated packet frozen vegetables. Not eaten. Charges were higher than city pub for fried schnitzel , chips etc. Pizza was reheated. Changed room as light was dull...even with O/h light on. Next room had broken table lamp so not much better. Facilities were way down a very creaky passage and lighting to stairs was poor. Have stayed in country pubs before but general tone was poor.More
