Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food was overcooked, rubbery and just plain tasteless. Staff were too busy to clean tables and too busy to help despite there being only and handful of people left in the restaurant. What a wasted afternoon with my wife.

As much as we enjoy Brothers and play the machines on a regular basis, sometimes we use their ATM and suddenly the last time we used it the ATM charge had gone up from $2.50 to $2.80 . One has to wonder why you should...have to pay a charge in the first place, but to increase the charge and not inform the members really is quite dishonest.More

We had a family lunch for Mums 80th today and it was just perfect in Shamrocks restaurant. Service was excellent, food was delicious, atmosphere was friendly, decor was lovely. Ordering was easy, lady taking the orders was especially efficient and helpful. Thank you all so...much for a lovely day for Mum. Can highly recommend this venue for family celebrations.More

We go to Brothers quite often. The love the club & staff are always friendly. Today 1/5/21 we had lunch at the coffee shop & have to say very disappointed. I usually have the steak sandwich which I really enjoy. Today it was disgraceful. It...only had 2 very small pieces of beetroot, raw red onion which in the past it had cooked onion. Small piece of lettuce & the steak didn’t cover the Turkish roll. The roll was so cold it was like it was just taken out of fridge. I don’t eat tomato or cheese. These were not in as I requested it. My husband always has the mushroom burger & it was not the size it usually is. Everything on it seemed to be half what he has had on it in the past. My daughter had the spring rolls & they were soggy not crispy like we have had before. She couldn’t eat them all. I asked a staff member who was in the kitchen & was told he was new. He really needs to pick up his game. I was told by a staff member I was talking to in the gaming area & she said we should of sent them back. We would have but we waited so long for our lunch wasn’t prepared to wait longer. Worse lunch we have had at the club. We left most of it on the plates.More

Do yourself a favour and give this a miss unless you want food poisoning. Went for dinner with hubby and adult son and hubby ordered the barra, son a burger and salmon for me. After 45 mins I asked where our meals were to be...told that they had run out of salmon and were defrosting some. Immediately I refused the order as this could make you very sick and as I was paying $30 for salmon, it should definitely not be frozen. The wait staff were very apologetic but the kitchen staff didn't bother to let them know or for them to come and let me know there was an issue but were clearly happy to make us wait and risk making someone very sick. I was not prepared to eat quickly defrosted fish and requested a replacement meal of the porterhouse instead. So this meal was cooked nicely to medium, the sides were nice and the mushroom sauce was delish. I should have ordered this in the first place. The girls were all very apologetic and approached us numerous times to check on us and apologise again. The girls were great, the chefs need a lesson in communication with the wait staff. Overall would I come back? Most likely never. Two stars due to the wait staff but overall bad experience.More

Modern, with it, excellent food and entertainment. ABBA tribute last week was a full house! All the attributes available at other clubs, but better. And its all at the doorstep of the Scenic Rim through Ipswich Central to Springfield and Ripley South. Go Brothers.

We recently had lunch with a group of friends and I ordered the roast of the day, emphasising vegetables well cooked. The beef was delicious but the vegetables were almost raw. I asked for a replacement and this took about 15 minutes to arrive and...were only marginally better. The standard meal of $10 now costs $12. A rise of 20%. My husbands fish was reduced to 2 portions instead of 3, similar price rise. We have always enjoyed our meals but felt that the standard has somewhat slipped.More

Family night out for a meal, 14 of us. The club, great, very nice clean and looks good to the eye. We all ordered our meals and sat back and waited. the meals started to come out one at a time, sometimes 2. Myself and...my good lady waited, and waited and waited. Everyone had received their meals, some had finished and we still waited. We complained and we were told the meals were being prepared now, sorry you can have a free desert????? It just ends up being one of those night were you would just like to say, sorry give me my money back. We finally received our meals, some of teh family had to leave as they had small children with them. It totally put me off the meal. Poor, very Poor service.More
