Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We ordered our fillet steaks well done. They came out rare! We showed the waitress who took them back to the kitchen. A few minutes later they brought our meals back to us looking more cooked on the outside but when we cut into it,...it steak was still quite red and pink inside - see photos attached. My hubby ate the outside bits of his steak that were cooked and left the rest. I covered mine in the pepper sauce to hide the blood in the steak. It seems chefs have a problem cooking well done steaks - well done means no blood or pinkness should be present when you cut into the steak. We were not going to send our meals back a second time. When the waitress came over half way through our meal to see how it was, I showed her the redness in the steak and she said she would let the chef know. My hubby does not like to complain and would rather just not go back. We had two steaks with chips and coleslaw plus 2 red wines which cost $160 . This is 5 star pricing for 3 star service and food which is disappointing. Had they made some small gesture, such as taking off the 2 glasses of wine ($11 per glass), this would have compensated for the chef under cooking our steaks. We've been to Seasons several times and it's hit and miss! So we won't be rushing back. Its a shame because the setting is nice and pepper sauce and coleslaw yummy. But for the price you pay at Seasons, we expect better. There are plenty of other great restaurant's at half the price in town.More

My colleague rated his steak as “best ever” I thought mine was OK. The killer was - NO STEAK KNIVES. Cutting $50 steaks with a butter knife.

We went to the Seasons as it was our anniversary. I booked online and ticked the box for a special meal. When we got to the restuarant, we were given a table in the middle, no privacy and no acknowledgment of our special occasion. The...food was okay. We shared barramundi and squid rings. The service was very good and the staff attentive. The spoiler for the evening was a group of people, of which there were parents of three children ages maybe 3 to 9. They played with the play equipment which was in the corner of the restaurant. They fought, screamed, banged the equipment throughout the evening. The parents ignored them and did nothing. The staff did nothing. The other diners, including ourselves, had to put up with this. What does one do in this situation. The other guests are paying good money for their meal. Should the manager have said something to the parents. Should the parents have controlled the situation. It really wasn't good enough. Our night out was ruined as well as the other guests. It puts a sour taste on the night.More

I was staying at the hotel overnight and couldn't be bothered walking too far. I ordered the rib eye with mushroom sauce ($40) and asked for it to be cooked rare. I barely blinked and it was at my table!! Absolutely perfectly cooked and very...flavourful. The sauce could have been a bit hotter but was very tasty. The outdoor setting was just lovely too along with the very friendly staff. Definitely would dine there again. The continental breakfast was also very well prepared.More

We had dinner at this restaurant while staying at the hotel. We had the Burgers and Shark & Chips. An excellent choice of place to have dinner. Based on this i would assume the steaks are also good. Highly recommended.

The young French guy with the glasses, working on reception and later restaurant is a complete asset to the hotel. Well done Seasons Newman for having such a caring employee. Do not lose him.

This really was a surprise, great meal, great service, everything just right. We has calamari as a starter with baramundi as the main, both were excellent, amazingly good considering the remoteness of Newman.

Food was like food court food put on a plate. Overpriced big time. I had the flat head special. It was $32. Quite expensive for the special but would be fine if the meal reflected the price. Probably the worst flathead I’ve ever had. Very...thin pieces of fish in batter. And very over cooked. Was so dry. Salad was very basic. Straight out of a Woolworths packet with a bit of dressing. Chips were pretty good though! All other meals everyone got were the same quality. Very disappointing. Pasta tasteless. Spanish mackerel over cooked and very dry. Seafood soup tasted like salty bacon. Its the most expensive place to eat in town. We expected a lot more! There were no cars in the car park. Obviously the locals are aware not to go. Looks like the people that eat here are Fly in fly out workers and their company pays for them to eat and stay at the seasons hotel.More

A business trip and great to have a professional environment to enjoy a great feed. Food was fresh and staff are friendly. Which is always a challenge in the Pilbara.
