OPAL, Kolhapur

It's just the Big Name. Taste and Food Quality is Worst. We ordered Mutton and Chicken Thali..both were Stale.Chicken was having foul smell and for Mutton Thali..only bones were served and when complained they didn't took any efforts to change it. When compared to taste...and quality its very expensive. Never go with the name. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Better go to PARAKH or RAJDHANIMore

Pathetic Food

We are regular customers to Opal Restaurant from Aurangabad. Today I ordered half mutton handi and mutton fry., and in both the dishes I found some chicken pieces. I asked them to call the chef but they didn't. Seems that they are taking customers for...granted as they have made a brand name. New customers beware while eating any mutton dish here. Had a pathetic experience today.More

No No No

Never ever step into this place serving horrible food. Mutton curry had only bones and unpalatable meat. Chicken curry had leathery pieces that even dogs would shun. Complaints to management fell on deaf ears. Sorry state of affairs.More

Amazing Food

Whenever in this town will surely have at least 2 meals here. Everything is very nice and specially Mutton is just awesome out of the world. And mutton achar is woooow.More

We visited Opal on 2nd February afternoon at around 1400 hrs. The restaurant was full and were in the waiting list. However arrangement were made within 5 minutes. The Real Kolhapuri Food

This place serves very good local food both vegetarian as well as non vegetarian. You can order a thali if you are vegetarian whereas for non vegetarian food you need to order Ala Carte.More

Delicious, simple, Kolhapuri food

Delicious, simple Kolhapuri food which doesn't set fire to your belly, unlike the touristy Kolhapuri cuisine restaurants. Order the mutton/chicken fry thali with pandhara rassi n a few non spicy side dishes, n you can go back on the highway immediately without looking for emergency...loos 😁More
