We dined here twice (as house guests) and enjoyed our meals, but the service, while friendly and helpful was let down by sloppy timing in the kitchen on the first occasion. Our table of four had one main served promptly, five minutes later a second one arrived, and 13 minutes later after a couple of requests for a check the... More

Given the nature of this venue, the menu is at the right size and offers a reasonable selection of choices that will suit most people. And by keeping the menu smaller, the quality of dining here is far better. The food is extremely well prepared, served with thought and tastes fantastic. This is "good" hotel dining which is great to... More

Ate here the first night we stayed & were quite impressed. Good food selection & quick service. Had room service the next night. The garlic prawn & chorizo pizza was sensational!

We ended up at Escarpment because it was the only place in Jabiru open for an evening meal. The venue is a mix between a modern pub, a staff canteen and a restaurant. There were different sets of lights in the roof of the main area and the ambiance might have been nicer if one set was switched off to... More

The food was really enjoyable here but there were not a lot of options overall. The kids had only 3 options. Service was good.

Decent simple food. A good alternative to sandwiches. Because you can be sick of eating sandwiches home made during your kakadu trip. Service is efficient, and when there is group, those go for buffet so the staff is quite avalaible. Recommande the kangaroo dish.

If you stay in the hotel, you have two options because of the remoteness of the place: either you eat in Escarpment or you don't eat at all. Given this fact, the dinner wasn't bad at all. Had roo on one occasion, beef on another. Only downside: the hotel has no gen. During a tropical storm, there were several power... More

As it is one of only a few dining options in Jabiru, we gave it a shot for dinner. I have to say I was a little disappointed given this used to be a top dining venue in Kakadu, with outstanding food. The menu offers the same as you would get in any low key pub in Darwin: Steak, fish... More

Our tour group of 28 had a fine dinner our first night in the hotel; I had Bush Bruschetta, pork cutlet, and caramel cheesecake. It was very good, but when we returned the second night, we asked about other options. Our servers and bartenders were wonderful. We were offered the lunch menu, and all eight of us were very pleased... More
