This is far from your standard pub. As visited to the area we were immediately made to feel at home by David, there is a chef who is at the top of his profession providing excellent food, best be hungry as there is a lot...More

We called in here for lunch before a walk yesterday and loved it. A properly traditional old pub. We were spoilt for choice with the menu and really enjoyed the food - good ingredients, big portions, nicely cooked. The location is fantastic for walking with...More

We had an enjoyable lunch in an agreeable old world setting. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate, the service was good and the beer came up to scratch. I would readily recommend this venue to anyone who has never been there before. Boris

From the moment we saw this Olde English pub we fell in love with it, and we were not disappointed. We stayed for two nights and were charmed by its low ceilings and old timber beams, open fireplaces, home made chutney and jams and the...More
