Very disappointed to order from here get home and find missing wontons and hotdog and sausage , doesn’t seem like much but 1/2 the order missing is really not good enough

Everything was soggy, the potato chips, kumara chips, 2 battered fish and potato fritter. Wanted to give them a chance despite the bad reviews here but unfortunately no redemption was made. Can you please try turning up the heat of your deep fryer? We're still...happy(ish) to have gotten food in our stomachs so thank you for that, but we hope there can be some changes made to ensure a higher quality!More
Chips were soggy, overcooked and far too salty! Very small amount for 1 scoop at $6.00. Certainly not value for money.
We paid for the fish and chips and sat right across from the shop to eat them. They didnt taste good at all and we had had an experience before whereby we have noticed that they dont seem to change their oil frequently enough to...keep it "healthy". But we thought we would give them another try. Unfortunately for us by the time we got home (approximately 5 minutes after eating the food) we were both fighting for the toilet for about 30 minutes. We have since phoned the Porirua City Council and have told them about our doubts of both their cleanliness and also hygiene standards within the premisesMore
Thought we'd try out something other than fish'n'chips and that was a mistake. I had beef rendang that was really dry - no sauce visible at all. There was just chewy bits of beef, loads of coconut and some rice and veges. Very odd, not...like I've had anywhere else before. Hubby had fried rice which was barely flavoured rice with not a lot else, tiny bits of shrimp and mixed veges. He thought could have done better himself. Will stick to the fish'n'chips next time.More
Was expecting authentic kiwi fish & chips. .not so. Fish was over cooked and over covered in fried crumbs...chips were nice and big. .but the vege spring rolls were a disappointment..didn't end up eating them. They were over fried and looked pretty tacky. Give this...place a miss.More
We tried out this local fish and chips for a change and really liked it. Was also interested in the other cuisine on the menu. I want to have a rendang next time
When passing through I always stop here for fish and chips. Their standards are high and I have never been disappointed. I recommend their crumbed fish.Service is friendly and fast.
I rang our order through and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes and true to their word our battered fresh fillets of tarakihi and fries were just being wrapped as I walked in the door. The batter was crisp, and as mentioned...above the fish was fresh, and the fries cooked to perfection and only very lightly salted as requested. I'm glad I called ahead as there were no shortage of customers waiting for their Friday evening meal. Definitely recommend trying Omega, same owners doing the same as they've done for as long as I can remember, which is quality fish & chips (amongst an array of Asian takeaway dishes)...just leaves me wondering why I haven't written a review about the place before now. Worth 4 from 5 stars.More
Omega 3 Seafoods has been serving quality fish and chips from the same premises on the side of Mana Esplanade for many years. They have consistently offered the best takeaways, particularly fish and chips, in the area for a very long time. Every time we...fly into Wellington and head north it is a compulsory stop to get our 'fix' of quality New Zealand fish and chips. Take them down to the park by the bridge and sit by the water and enjoy them. Feed the seagulls with the leftovers (if there are any) and watch the world go by.More
