We love this cafe for it's homebaked produce and great selection of food for allergy sufferers. Worth a visit just to try out the Summer Fruit Muffins!! Delicious food at reasonable prices . There's always a warm welcome from the owner Irina who bakes all the food fresh daily. A super place to catch up with friends for a coffee!

We were on a day trip cycling around the Brecon Beacons, and based on the Trip Advisor reviews hunted this place out for our lunch stop. Definitely not dissapointed! We were able to sit outside, and enjoy the (fantastic) weather, and the food was excellent. I had onion quiche, and kartoshka (a delicious mix of cake and dumpling, thoroughly recommended),... More

Arranged to meet my granddaughter here. What a little gem, the most relaxed place in Pontypool. I had green tea and kartoska which is homemade Russian chocolate. Cake. Granddaughter had apple lien and "ordinary" tea. Both treacly enjoyed. I'll be going to this little cafe again.

The excellent quality of food and service is always consistent. I love coming in here after I finish work to relax with a cup of tea and one of Irina's biscuits. And when I feel I deserve a special treat I have a Kartoshka. Irina is now assisted on occasion by her friend Galina. Both ladies are delightful, long may... More

Everything was delicious - onion tart, kartoshka cake and the Russian apple tart, as well as the coffee. The slight shabbiness of the place simply adds an interesting touch of bohemianism to the friendly, cheerful, intimate atmosphere of this cafe. Service is speedy and attentive, and Irina also displays posters and leaflets of the latest arts events in Pontypool. There... More
