A fantastic place to eat or to have a few drinks with the most amazing views of St Michaels Mount. Service is always brilliant, quality of food is fantastic and great choice of drinks. Seating area outside overlooking the mount if the weather good otherwise on a colder day you can sit inside with floor to ceiling windows. Love the... More

We ate here on the last day of our holiday. We all had lunch, all the food was delicious from the soup to the tuna sandwich and crab Risotti with saffron and cream. Kids were made to feel welcome and had gorgeous fish and chips. Service friendly, welcoming and relaxed. We then returned for tea where we had fillet steaks,... More

Like eating in a village hall echoes and wooden floors , over priced accommodation, menu and lacks atmosphere, won't return sat down at a table to be told it's reserved , yet no sign on table ? Smelt of wet dogs but suppose even though I'm a dog lover wasn't over awed by the smell

We were in the area to go to St Michael's Mount. Due to the windy weather, the ferry was not running and we had to wait for the causeway to clear. So, we came here for something to eat and drink. The staff were brilliant. We were a little late for breakfast but they happily cooked breakfast for us anyway... More

Had a problem finding somewhere to eat on a Monday night as we had not pre booked so called in here. Not very busy and a half empty restaurant worries me. Good food - tried the Sea Bream special which was lovely although ordered some extra veg as portions are not huge. Quite expensive in fact £16 for the special.... More

We had lunch in the restaurant of the Goldolphin Arms on our last day in Cornwall, the food is good if a little pricy £8 for a beef sandwich) and the soft drinks very expensive , 2 lime & soda £3.60. However the staff were very nice the service quick and the views are fantastic.

Big advantage was that it was open most of the time. Food was above average but restaurant was very busy. Average service.

Food served throughout the day
Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.

From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte.

Where to eat?
Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the new glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9 or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a logburner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.
