Had a nice lunch on the lovely decorated terrace of O Cinco (Café Five). I ordered some falafel, but switched out the fries for vegetables. I guess this confused the kitchen (or the waitress?) somewhat. My order was served correctly, but in stead of the tuna salad that my boyfriend ordered, he got served a tuna steak. Not a problem, the steak was very nice, so no need for complaining.
We enjoyed the sangría with passion fruit very much. A refreshing drink on a hot summer day. The wine by the glass was a bit more expensive than we were used to, but the glasses were big. When we got the bill we noticed that the waitress had forgotten to put the two glasses we ordered on our bill. Of course we asked for a correction, but suffice to say, that the service was a bit inattentive.
To get to the toilet you have to squeeze yourself through a very small corridor, but the toilet itself was clean.

Small restaurant. On Monday evening there are few restaurants in Madalena open, it was therefore very busy, waiters were given a number, so you did not have to wait longer than necessary.

We order a steak from the regional and a tuna steak from the regional. We came here because we read all the amazing reviews online. Unfortunately the tuna steak was the most dry and tasteless tuna we’ve ever eaten. :-(
The fish also looked very grey and not fresh at all.
Service was really nice and friendly, but we would not recommend this place at all. It’s crazy to think that people stand in line for this place.

The restaurant is in the center of the town and very convenient if you have a hotel in the centre.

It is always a pleasure to eat at this restaurants! The environment is excellent, we are treated very well and always with a smile, there is in fact concern that everything runs for the best and that we left with the best experience and satisfaction possible. In restoration it is increasingly difficult to find. The food in a restaurant can be very good, but it is the sympathy of the staff and the good energy they convey that will turn the experience into something really pleasant. The space is small but full of charisma. The dishes are great, very well confectioned and very well served. We were lucky enough to get a table reservation in this charming cosy restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn’t know whether to order medium or m rare for the steak and she helpfully suggested that we should order less well cooked and they would happily cook for longer. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they offered this- always feel an idiot for choosing the wrong type! Anyway, it was undercooked- they took it away to cook more, but sadly in that time my chips went cold, and the replacement portion didn’t arrive until after my twice cooked steak arrived. Such a shame as I’m sure it would have been lovely together. But the ambiance was fab, the staff so helpful, and the food really good. My wife had tuna and that was incredible.

Cozy space, a relaxed and always very friendly atmosphere and the food is simply wonderful!
From the Kebab dishes to the francesinha, without forgetting the tuna steak and the regional bride, they are always well served and tasty!
If you have space, and visit during crepe season, we recommend the crepe with salted caramel ice cream!

Food was acceptable but not very tasty. I had the vegan “chick’n” burger and my partner had the falafel plate. I was glad to find vegan options, but we were both disappointed by the quality (bland and seemingly processed), and the prices seemed very high for basic diner-like food.
Good downtown ambience however, and very pleasant staff.

Delighted to be able to eat at this restaurant attached to the hotel where I was staying. Open from lunchtime till late, I loved sitting outside eating a tasty, freshly prepared tuna salad, followed by a delicious fruit panna cotta. Very reasonably priced and excellent service.

We came there for lunch, which was good. We ordered burgers. They were served in traditional way, without roll. We asked for a roll for a daughter and we got it. She enjoyed the meal, so did we. Meat was requested as medium and was almost ok, closer to 'well done' but still ok. Service, however, was nice and polite, but slow, we waited almost 30 minutes for a burgers and they forgot about wine.

Very good restaurant in the heart of Madalena, a small restaurant with a small outdoor area. The scrimps in butte and garlic as starters were excellent, the local beef steak in traditional preparation with peppers and garlic also excellent. Gargrad rare hit perfectly. Small place in the center of Madalena, with very few tables outside and a few others inside.
They do good cuisine, perhaps also thanks to the fact that the menu is not vast, so they can take care of the courses in the best possible way.
