We were shown upstairs to the wonderful balcony area where we had a comfortably large table for our family of 5. Some great options on the menu - I went for the Salt and Pepper squid with... More

I've had lunch and dinner here several times and each time the food has been amazing. There is not much on Magnetic Island and the food can be a bit boring but at Barefoot they appear to change the menu frequently updating it with inventive alternatives often. Food is fresh and good value & presentation is excellent with generous serves.... More

We arrived barefoot at 8.40pm to be told that the restaurant was closing. (Be ware- magnetic island is a lot quieter than we expected and most restaurants are not open every day of the week- so worth checking and booking beforehand) However- the lady working there and chefs kindly agreed to stay open to serve us dinner and did not... Interesting combination of art and food. I'm no art critic so won't pretend to evaluate the many pieces adorning the walls - see for yourself. Simple menu with a broad variety to satisfy most. Licenecd so you can enjoy a glass of bubbles while looking past the curtain figs to the ocean. More than happy with my thai chicken curry,... More
