There was usually a choice of 2 or 3 starters & mains & desserts including ice cream. The portion size is good, salads are quite large. Usual choices for dessert.

Quite an old fashioned looking restaurant in a big hotel. It has quite a good menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Burgers are huge filled with all sorts and very tasty. Service is a little slow.

Open for diner as of 20.30 hrs. When entering the restaurant at the first floor, you think you entered a major bedroom, walls are covered in the same fabric as the curtains...it's a lot to take in. Very smelly place, the kitchen obviously has no airing facility. Staff is nice enough, we ordered Iberico ham with toasted bread with tomato,... More

Just had dinner at this place...service is slow, after waiting a while I went up to the bar to order. Kids had spagetti bolognese and that was good. Husband had lamb witch tastet good but way to much fat. I had a grilled sole...that was still raw and with both my fish and husbands lamb was served with really poor... More

We had lunch there and I had the stewed chicken, which was tender and full of flavor. The service was very prompt, but the staff had limited English. That did not turn out to be a problem as we got everything that we ordered. My wife had the fish which was also good. The house wines were delicious and very... More

We stopped here for lunch. The most memorable item of our meal was the baked lasagna that we had as an appetizer. It was delicious. We had some house wine but it was pretty bad, so I do not recommend that.

We stopped at Riano en route for Leon. The little town overlooks a reservoir with spectacular mountains on all sides. We decided to have a late lunch and the Hotel Presa provided a welcome break. Typical Spanish hotel dining room, full of locals (or certainly people who knew the waiting staff well). Prompt, friendly service and good food. Stuffed aubergines... More

Huge wine list - expensive and average wines. Food badly cooked and unimaginative. Service disinterested.

We made a detour to go back to Hotel Presa when we were travelling in Leon and it was well worth. Often when you go back to a place you liked you can be disappointed but not this time, once again it was a Sunday, the restaurant full of local couples and families and the meal and service was as...
