Had a Sunday roast with family here. All had Camembert and it was lovely but could of done with cooking slightly longer - plenty of bread, always a bonus! Then we all had a roast, the beef was delicious, tender and falling apart, the lamb...More

Great little lunch, never been before but would definitely visit again if in the area. The staff were amazingly friendly and the fish and chips we had was epic! Def recommend to anyone that appreciates a lovely little pub in a lovely little village

Returning to The Red Lion was a good experience. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff and there is a new chef (Simon) who produced a scrumptious steak. We will be going back again

Greeted with a warm welcome. My two fellow diners enjoyed their gammon. I tried a new dish, vegetarian cottage pie, which was delicious! A thoroughly enjoyable dinner in a country pub atmosphere.

I have never experienced lasagne like it. Minced beef sandwiched between a couple of sheets of lasagne & a meagre sprinkle of grated cheese on top. Awful & charged £10.95 for it! Really disappointed.

We went just after Christmas but you would need to check with the current management about their plans for Chrismas meals this year.
