Fresh, great quality food, friendly efficient staff, warm welcoming atmosphere, this is the best village pub I've ever visited, and I have visited dozens... if you can I recommend a visit asap.

Down to the countryside from London to visit my sister and husband Oscar, for Sunday lunch, visited the Fox and hounds pud for Sunday lunch,great little pud that served great Sunday lunch and good beer and staff.

This is a lovely traditional pub situated in the village of Steeple Bumpstead. We have eaten in the pub several times and we recently ordered takeaway sandwich platters for a business meeting which went down extremely well with everyone.
