We frequently take our grand-daughter (age two and a half) to the Maldon Tandoori. We all enjoy the food and the staff are very polite and helpful. An excellent place to eat.

Just got back from a lovely Indian meal I went with my wife we had 2 different main courses and a couple of side dishes which we shared. I have found some Indians the dish are very much the same, not in this case. The food was excellent and the naan bread to die for. We commented on the naan's... More

Booked a table for last Friday night and glad I did as it was very busy... it's busy for a reason, it's so good in every respect. The restaurant has a great atmosphere which just compliments the excellent food and service. Looking forward to our next visit soon!

Can't praise this restaurant enough. The service is superb, with waiters being friendly and chatty, nothing is too much for them. Food is served hot and superbly tasty. I really appreciated the timing of each course, a good amount of time between courses and we felt completely able to take our time and fully enjoy our meal.

After having probably the best vindaloo I'd ever tasted a few weeks back in their restaurant, I ordered a takeaway tonight comprising chicken vindaloo, pilau rice and keema nan. Upon getting it home, the curry portion was meagre; lacked quantity of meat/potato and sauce and the chicken was dry. Not only did this disappoint me, but also the burnt keema... More

This place never lets me down. Great service by the seamless team. Great food, great buzzy atmosphere because it's hugely popular. If your visiting Maldon and like Indian food, this is the restaurant to book. Another big win for me is the lighting levels are just right, not to bright, so good for couples. My fav is Lamb Dansak and... More

We used to eat here weekly, before I moved away. The food was excellent with new dishes regularly appearing on the menu. The owner became a friend and was always pleased to see us. I had the opportunity to return last year, food was as good as ever. Now thinking about making an excuse to visit again.

Description
Welcome to The Award Winning Maldon Tandoori

Our restaurant was established by my brother and myself in 1987 following the vision of our father who had a passion for cooking. The main cuisine is Indian/ Bangladeshi. Being from Bangladesh we have great expertise in traditional home-made food and regularly promote Bangladesh nights bringing the authentic foods to our customers.

We serve dishes made to customer's specific requirements, including anything from mild chicken Korma to hot and spicy chicken Naga. Our most popular dishes are Tandoori chicken Bhuna Balti and Tandoori King Prawn Jalfrezy Balti. We only use the finest king prawns from Bangladesh which are noted for their freshness and size. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally, although some specialist ingredients come from our suppliers in East London.

We have many customers as friends at Maldon Tandoori and hope to make many more. We hope to see you soon.
