Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the outside this looks like a Greek temple, attended(!) car park and spacious well laid out dining. Food is buffet, great choices of veggie and a range of meat. Starters are great with salad options. Would have been better for all the dips to...be named but everything else is clearly marked and if it veggie. All you can eat is always tempting but the warning that you may be charged if you leave an excessive amount is fair and politely made. Desserts a food range of Indian and other with plenty of ice cream varieties. Toilets are spotless and spacious but back kitchen is not perfect. We went as we had driven past it many times and popped in on the off chance of a table, we will be going backMore

Takeaway treat! What a waste of money, I would have been better throwing my money down the drain! Tasteless, cold inedible food. Make no wonder they are closing down, they want shutting down serving food like that. If I could give no stars at all...that would be better. Anyone thinking of ordering a takeaway don’t waste your money absolutely terrible.More

It's all very nice, in particular the tandoori lamb chops which are restricted to 6 per visit to the counter (rightly so or they all go at once!)

What a disappointment. The food was exremely poor quality. Please do not waste your money. Not wanting to be snobby but the clientel here are the sort of folk who frequent McDonalds and Toby Carvery type of places. Cheap ingredients. If you want a place...where you go and stuff your face on crap, this is for you. People wandering around with plates piled high of awful quality food. They even have the cheapest of ice-creams! Blue ice-cream too! Lamb chops with no meat on them, stodgy onion bajis, illuminous curry dishes, some with no meat in them.More

We held my brothers wedding here. From initial enquiry to the actual wedding we couldn’t have had a better experience. Sam - who was our contact and events planner was fantastic in responding to queries and also helping with Co-ordination including liaising with external service...providers - DJ Luxe and Jalebi King. All the guests complemented the venue and the food was amazing - fresh, tasty and served beautifully. Thank you for making it a day to remember!More

To cut a long story short, we attended a charity event a few weeks ago to raise money for Wheatfields Hospice & bidded £100 on a voucher that had been kindly donated by Aakash for a meal for 4. On receipt of the voucher we...found that there was only 13 days from the day of the charity event to use the voucher (which as a busy family of 4 is already quite difficult to utilise in such a short space of time so already I had a feeling that Aakash had not donated the voucher with the purest of intentions) Anyway… fast forward to 7 days later & we had booked to go but the day before I started with covid symptoms & on testing, received a positive result. We rang the restaurant to ask if we could extend the voucher by 7 days and come the following Sunday, due to having covid. I explained that although I didn’t have to self isolate legally, I was trying to do my bit by remaining indoors and wouldn’t feel comfortable dining out knowing I had covid. We were promised a call back from the manager. No call was received. I rang a further 2 times & each time I was told that a manager would ring me back. No calls received. I then rang on the following Sunday (the day we wanted to come) and spoke to the manager who told us that we couldn’t extend the voucher & needed to go back to Wheatfields and ask for our money back. Of course, this is not an option as we want Wheatfields to benefit from the money we paid for the voucher, but it really angered me that Aakash were not willing to be flexible, especially when we rang in advance & tried to do the right thing. My husband spoke to the manager and expressed our dissatisfaction and he said he would ring us back & guess what…no call was ever received. We dine out as a family often and frequently go to the Aagrah & Kashmiri Aroma for buffet and I know for certain that both of the mentioned restaurants would have allowed us to use the voucher, without hesitation. I feel like Aakash gave the voucher in the hope it would never be used so although they appear charitable, the management showed this is not the caseMore

Attended a wedding at Aakash yesterday and highly recommend the venue. It was clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the service was excellent. Food was delicious and served pipping hot which was great. Chicken Drumsticks had a lovely flavour. The...organisers Sam and Iftikhar Bhai really went the extra mile to meet the families demands which met all there expectations. Highly recommend this Venue for Weddings and it has wheelchair access which is great. Once again a massive Thanks to Aakash and all there staff. Deeply Appreciated.More
