This place (pub doesn’t do it justice) has recently been taken over. 2 of us visited via the river last weekend. What a fantastic restaurant/drinking establishment. We were running slightly late to meet the 9pm deadline of food orders so we phoned ahead to order...More

From the front you can never guess that this is a riverside pub with terraced gardens leading down to the Avon. The Anchor has a contemporary décor with a good range of options for lunch: we chose the ham salad and very good it was...More

Very nice pub. I had a burger which was very nice. The staff were well presented, friendly and helpful. There are nice moorings for boaters too. I’ve been back since to enjoy a few pints of Guinness outside.

Description
Dating back to the 17th century, The Anchor Inn pub in Wyre Piddle near Pershore has a gently sloping, riverside terraced garden on the River Avon and looking out onto Bredon Hill. With plenty of outdoor seating for Al Fresco dining on the terrace we offer pleasant surroundings overlooking the river where you can enjoy an expertly prepared meal, snack or just a refreshing drink. Our restaurant areas are suitable for private dining and our relaxed lounge/bar seats 30 and is an ideal place for families to enjoy quality time together. Our real Ales include Greene King's Abbot's Ale, Wye Valley's Butty Bach and Pershore Brewery's Pale Ale which we keep to the highest standard. You will also find Estrella Damn, Birra Moretti, San Miguel, Carling, Symonds, Hogan's Cider and Guiness on at all times.
