As a regular to this part of the world, this place is my favourite. Situated near a number of other restaurants, this one has excellent staff, a good range on the menu and always delivers in terms of quality and quantity. Menu covers Belgian favourites as well as a decent range of fish and meat options. Not quite so varied... More

A nice meal of baked trout with very tasty fried vegetables and potatoes; service efficient and attentive, despite it being fairly crowded when we arrived. Though we live nearby this hadn't been one of our regular places to dine out; it will be now.

We booked lunch for 10 peoples, 4 adults and 6 kids during thr xmas holidays and I must say that they are used to handling large (and small) groups. Large table, quick service, ok food and a nice specials menu. We tried the mussels which I guess is always kind of risky but they were great. We had a couple... More

Inside and outside seating. Excellent menu including children's section. Good range of beers and wine. Fast efficient service, even when busy. Best to reserve especially at the weekend. Combine with a walk through the woods opposite.

In bygone times the “Zoete Waters”, five 17th century ponds stretching over less than a mile in the woods of Oud-Heverlee, seemed an almost idyllic spot. There were only a few cafés; mainly in existing buildings like the former castle of Steenbergen (Spaans Dak) or the old watermill (In de Molen). Customers often arrived on foot or by bicycle after... The restaurant has a nice and pleasant room, a good menu with recipes that sound very good but the food is tasteless. It is well presented but all the taste has gone. It is a pity because the menu sounds really great.

Been here countless time. Personal very friendly. Food good. Wanderful outdoor and for days with rain big windows. Would help me an English menu.

My wife and I decided to eat at Braserie St. Jean in Zoet Water, Belgium. We were attracted initially by their beautiful looking raised deck offering commanding views of the lake. Unfortunately it was closed for the convenience of the staff. Disappointed but undeterred we decided to take a table outside, in the sun and next to a fairly busy... More

We went here for lunch after a short holiday nearby. Although the place looks nice it is not very cheap and the staff wasn't that friendly. The food and the waffles with ice cream were good, but not that special. Not sure if I would recommend this place, there might be better places to have lunch nearby
